So much to tell…..not sure where to start!
AH came into town last week. He took the kiddos for dinner Thursday. Then had them all weekend. They were stoked to spend some time with him. Drawback is that ever since we picked them up at noon today all I’ve heard is how much they miss him. The sucky part is that unlike last time where I pretty much knew when he would be back in town to see them, this time….not the case. They don’t know. I don’t know…..[sigh] When I tucked in LM at bedtime he was almost in tears when he asked me if he was never going to see his daddy again. :( My heart about broke. But hell, I could reassure him that YES he would see him again, but I couldn’t like BACK it with anything. IDK….. I’ve had a hard time shaking the guilt trip my ex MIL laid on me a week ago, when she tried to tell me ‘how hard this has been on AH’. Fucking save it. Don’t tell ME how hard this has been. IS. My god….. Blech.
Onto better (less depressing) things. We got a new bed. YAY!!!! With out boring everyone with too many details of the sleeping arrangements up until this point…We’d been sleeping in the bat cave. While the children occupied the master bed room. That had luxuries, like windows. Space. LOL. Let’s just say I (we) now have a BIG, COMFY, PRETTY, *WONDERFUL* new bed. IN the actual MASTER bedroom. I have my bedroom back. And I am in. love. What more could I want?! MOMD….my bedroom….big, comfy, pretty new bed….heaven. Ahhh….. [happy sigh] :)
There are new sleep arrangements through out the house. *~*~*change~*~* Hmmm…..wish us luck.
The good thing of it all is that I’ve had a cold that just. kicked. my. ass. Today is the first day in a week that I’ve felt mostly human. Jesus fucking christ. YUCK! Man….
I cleaned. And cleaned. And CLEANED this weekend. Three gigantic bags for donation. One gigantic bag for the animal shelter. Bags, boxes and containers for the children’s consigment store. It’s coming together. Spring cleaning in January. Cool. LOL
It was *awfully* quiet in’ internetland’…..hope everyone had a kick ass weekend.

It’s sad that they’re in such a position to miss him like that. I have no idea what he’s thinking. I simply couldn’t ignore my son like that. I’m in constant agony, missing him.
And the bed is really nice. I’m glad we got it. Oh yeah, looking forward to trying out the new TV too, especially now that I’ve got the stand all put together.

Don’t ever let guilt push you around. And the fuckin outlaw doesn’t ever get to wield that power unless you let her. I know it isn’t easy, but I also see many things coming together for you, and the more you hold your life and own it all, the stronger you will get.
I heart you on the little buckaroo with his heart out there. That is a little boy’s identity shaping right before your eyes. Not an easy road right now. Actions speak as loud as words right now. And space can hug as tight as arms ever could. He knows you are there for him. The terms he comes to where his Dad is concerned is something he may have to sort out as he gets older.

my heart just breaks for LM. And the guilt trip your MIL gave you…don’t let it get you down. You are the one that is dealing with the fallout of AH’s departure…it must not be too difficult on him if he can just walk away without letting his children know when they will see him again…Prick.
And awesome on the new bed…did you get new bedding too cause a new bed deserves new bedding :)

I just want you to know that I am an absolute moron. No, seriously. Do you know, I JUST figured out what MOMD stood for? It took me three months to finally figure out PIMP… *Sigh*
Congrats on the new bed! Hoop and I are looking for a new one too. I don’t understand how we can tell what we want though if they won’t let us sleep on them first!
