Ha!  After this weekend I have proven to myself that I can drink/dance/party just as well as I could when I was in my early twenties.  I’ve been having ‘personal issues’ with my impending birthday and ‘officially’ being in my mid-thirties.  Fuck mid-thirties.  This whole getting old thing can kiss my ass.  I still got it in me.  *snort*

Highlights (the ones I can remember, doh) of the kid-free weekend:

Mojito and her hottie hubbie (he looks like Mark McGrath…hubba hubba, lol) flew in Friday evening.  My sister used her get out of jail free card to come down to LoDo with us.  Sah-weet!

Checked into our hotel and made our way to The Rio, which are renowned for their margaritas.  Rode the trolley down there and walked around the block.  Mojito’s totally cute new heels cut through her feet like fucking glass.  No shitting you.  I can’t believe I don’t have pictures of it.  Cute shoes from HELL.  (((her feet)))  [shudder] 

Drowned out her pain in alcohol. Like you didn’t already guess that part!  haha!

PC is NOT a drinker (reason #3459 why he is good for a lush like me, keeping me out of trouble, lol).  I should lay that out there right.now.  But fuck man if he can hold his liquor.  We were ALL impressed.  Personally I was blown away.  My god is that man cute when he gets drunk too, snort.  ~giggle~

Ate, drank, fed PC a tequila martini that would have slammed me on my ass.  With the warning “sip it, that is the kind of drink you SIP”.  *blink*  It was gone.  Umm…..  LOLOLOL

Decided to hit it at Coyote Ugly.  That is the funniest bar.  Seriously.  It’s located at an odd end of the LoDo area, in a prime location of a popular outdoor mall….  So the crowd is very transitional and diverse. 

That said, the drinking began again.

There was a guy there, kinda dorky (in a cute way, please don’t think I’m busting on him, ok, I kind of was, but in a fun way, doh), all on his own….in this bar where pple don’t really/usually ‘dance’ but that dude had his GROOVE.ON!  *snort*  It was freaking funny.  Mojito and I, the trouble makers we are, decided to steam things up a bit.  We drug my sister over and danced and grinded all over him.  I think it’s safe to assume we made his night.  Go us.  ~wink~

Had several rounds of Bud Light bought for us by a Bud rep.  Cool!

Volunteered PC for a hoola hooping contest.  Funniest.thing.EVER.  *snort snort snort*

Volunteered PC for a body shot.  HOTTEST.thing.EVER.

Sent sis home in a Taxi (rule set by her husband), drank more beer in the hotel bar and passed out hard.and.cold. (back in the room, come on pple!)

Woke up h.a.n.g.o.v.e.r…..  There is one thing I have learned in my years of drinking.  I should NOT mix my alcohol.  Nononononono….when I do that it never ends well.  So.  Let’s review…  Margaritas, Coors Light, Red Bull/Vodka, shot I can’t remember the name of (Mojito help me out here, doh!), Bud Light….  See my mistake?  Granted.  Not the SAME mistake 2 years ago where I consumed more jello shots than my body weight.  *ahem*  But still.  Yuck. 

Starbucks helped.  Me that is.

Ate.  Napped.  Took advantage of non-drunken alone time (wink, wink….with PC pervs.  Not Mojito…that was later!  LOL)

(what was not captured here was that this dudes BUTT CRACK was showing it’s business all over the freaking place)

Ate dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.  Stomach still off.  But *damn* is that place YUM-MY.  Too full for dessert. I know. Who the hell goes to The Cheesecake Factory and doesn’t order dessert.  [shaking head]  (seriously, we were TOO.FULL.)

Got dolled up (no frilly dresses *snort*) and headed out.  To the best club ever.  And it was closed.
So much for the longest running club in town.

Fuck.

Found another club (much walking, much wandering around, much wishing we had a beer in hand).  You seriously got to wonder when you have to be felt up and passed through security to get in.  And then there are almost as many policemen IN the club as there were club-goers.  Oh.  And we looked OLD.  Yeah.  Two beers later..moving right along. 

Next stop Martini Ranch.  Ah look, “our crowd”.  Much better.  But fuck that place was hotter than HELL.  Blech.  No problem!  DRINK BEER.  Lots and lots of beer. And dance.  All night long.  WOOT!

Closed down the place, caught a Taxi back to the hotel.  Where we ordered a ton of food from room service at 3:00a/m and got naked.

Ok.  Not really.  Not ALL of us, just Mojito and I.  Ok, ok.  Not ALL the way naked either.  PC was thinking ahead when he brought his good camera.  Silly girls.  ~wink~

Fast forward.  They are home.  We had a *KICK ASS* time.  And I’ll be damned if I wasn’t not hung over at.all. Sunday.  YAY!  Mojito and hottie hubbie not so lucky…(((them)))

Wanting to head to San Diego SOON.  Very, very soon.  Such a good time.  :)
