October is Breast cancer awareness month.  The first week of October kicks off the Boobie-Thon.  Which when you look into it, is a really cool idea.  Go check it out and SUPPORT THE CAUSE.  You know, bc I said so.

My (ex)MIL has battled with breast cancer, not once but twice in her life.  In our lives.  I vividly remember when she was diagnosed with it the first time.  She found out the devastating news on AH’s 21st birthday.  It was a moment that stopped time.  And then over ten years later she was diagnosed again.  No matter what has happened in our relationship, I will always remember the strength she exhumed while enduring this.

This week for my Friday favorites I am highlighting ONE blogger. 

Evening…from In The Light of Day….. And here my friends is a girl that rocks my world.  No words can describe how much I admire her sexy ass.

There are some amazing women AND men who have participated (many, many bloggers you all may recognize have participated).  You have to check it out.  The site has been an insane hit.  Which seriously rocks.

So…um……let’s see, this may not be the best or most elaborate of posts.  I’m kind of wrecked sleep wise. LM had some sort of allergic/weird reaction where he couldn’t breathe and was coughing/crying uncontrollably and I think I was able to get oh, two??? hours of sleep.  [sigh]

BUT I had an *INCREDIBLE* birthday.  I have a tendency to fall into a funk and become depressed on/bc of my birthday.  And I forewarned PC the night before that I felt it coming on.  Well.  Goodbye to that.  I had THE BEST birthday, maybe on record.  PC and the kiddos went out of their way to make it just awesome.  Every one of my friends contributed in making it just as wonderful.  And of course there was the slideshow that Stealth surprised me with.  THAT touched me like you will never understand (it still makes me teary, damnit).

So…..Starbucks in bed, lingerie, jewelry, dozen roses, kiddos driven to school, dinner at Olive Garden (with a markedly charming waiter to boot!)….what more could a wanna be Princess ask for?!

Spent the afternoon with both kiddos at LP’s field day.  LP has THE cutest little boyfriend. This boy thinks the sun rises and sets on her little sunshiney face.  Awwww…..  ~grins~  LM was on his most perfect Little Man behavior, that alone was an awesome birthday present!  AND the weather was *stunning*. 

Thursday was spent *SANS KIDS* with my mom shopping, lunch….  I honestly can’t even tell you the last time my mom and I spent a day together, focusing on adult only conversation and not having to refocus or be distracted by kiddos.  God. It was….refreshing. 

I have some great, FANfuckingTASTIC news brewing.  But it’s too early to share yet.  I promise to as soon as I can.  Wait. I actually have TWO exciting news type things in the making.  Hmmm….

So.  In all honesty.  This has been one of the best weeks for me.  WOOfuckingHOO!!!
