So the little mini mare, Kada, may be small but she has a powerful hoof when she munches on your foot. (She spooked, it wasn’t her fault) But OUCH! This happened on Monday. MONDAY!!! I haven’t been able to run all week bc of it. Gah….
The weather has finally been nice so the kiddos and I spent a ton of time outside enjoying the sunshine. At the park, taking walks (ok, hobbles, for me, lol), planting flowers, spending time with the horses and new baby. Course not Thurs….when it stormed the entire day and the nearby area was hit by TORNADOS!!!! *shaking head*
My wedding coordinator decided to up and quit with out notice to anyone except the B&B owner (if you count calling in to let him know she had found another job and wouldn’t be returning- ‘notice’). Leaving every bride that has a wedding planned at that B&B this summer (they are booked every wkend through September) SOL. Huh. I just found this out after I was following up on a voicemail I had left her two weeks ago that was never returned… The good news is most of the things I had counted on her to help me with are taken care of. This woman was horrible to get a hold of, forgot things she had promised to do/take care of….so totally not completely surprised by this turn of events. But still, can you say FLAKE.
AH is flying into town and the kiddos are spending part of the holiday weekend with him and their grandparents. It’ll be good for them to get to see him. They haven’t since….. I can’t remember when. Was it Christmas he was here last????? IDK. But they are excited. I always miss them when they are away. The house feels so…empty and quiet with out them. *sigh* PC and I will at least get to spend some quality ‘together’ time. He was on an exceptionally long business trip this past week. I reeeeeaaaaaaallllllllly missed him. So it’ll be nice. We love the kiddos and our family time, but just him and I will be fun. ~grins~
(Did I mention he sent me flowers while he was gone?!?!? They are beeeeUtiful!!! …:::happy sigh:::…)
My furbaby that I (ok we, but he’s my *baby*) got for Christmas (the Australian Cattle pup, Mick) was ‘off’ all day Thursday and began puking that night. He sees the vet in the morning. Wish him (and me) some *~*~it’ll be ok vibes~*~* . I love that dog almost as much as one of my kiddos. Hell, he IS one of my kiddos. He really has to be ok. :(
One more thing. Gray’s Anatomy. OMGOMGOMG. YESYES YES. ButbutBUT!!!! Just sayin….
Have a great holiday weekend. IMO summer officially kicks off with Memorial Day weekend!

P.S. In honor of Memorial Day, I will be putting TFT up on Monday rather than Tuesday. I’d like to kind of do a special tribute of sorts. nearly the same thing happened to me 1990 I stepped on my own toe and haven’t run since, hence my waistline!
