I stole this list of “Sex Dos and Don’ts” from Glamour. It was interesting (and funny) to read. Some I totally agree with…others I thought they were being very uh, PRUDE (lmao) in their responses. I decided to break the list up so as to open up more discussion. I gave my answers/response in italics.
When it’s time to get into the mood, are these foreplay moves Dos or Don’ts?
Having your fingers sucked:
It’s a Do, say 55% of women and 72% of men.

*It’s a DON’T. No thanks. I can think of small circumstances where it might be hot (ie, some yummy whip cream comes to mind), but for the most part. Noooo.

Creatively using an ice cube:

*DO -ice cubes can be highly erotic and VERY fun!
Oral sex is generally considered a Do, but what about…

*DON’T It’s an uncomfortable position and I can’t concentrate. And I need to concentrate to enjoy myself. Meaning if I’m concentrating on making HIM (her) feel good then it’s not feeling good for me (bc I have to concentrate on THAT for it to feel good, lol). BUT then I read this and it changed my opinion slightly (although still, I just don’t hook up with men, other than PC of course, lol):

The ice cube thing was a bit different for me, but I have to agree that it was erotic. I really enjoyed it. But it wasn’t necessarily the ice, but more what went along with the ice, like all the kissing.
And as for the whole swallowing thing… I don’t know what to say. Personally, I don’t see the problem with it. After all, *ahem*, we’re not the only ones who emit fluids; and yet we too are expected to swallow. I know I don’t have a problem with it. ;)

Mike- Nice. There is SUCH A *HUGE* difference in taste and consistency. With guys (ahem) this very thick, nasty, extremely salty, globby ’stuff’ is shot into the back of your throat, repeatedly.
With a GIRL, it is very different (and uh, tastes way better, lol!)….taste, consistency, etc.

Just my thoughts on the whole taste issue…a lot of it depends on what the person’s diet is like. Certain foods/drinks make for nasty tasting cum. Lots of soda/pop is has a weird taste…alcohol is just nasty…junk food can be gross too. Healthy food usually equally yummy times. Same thing with illness…if someone is getting sick, you can sometimes “taste” that as well. I know it sounds crazy, but that’s just my experience.
So rather than never swallowing, I’d give the guy the benefit of the doubt and at least try it for him–after all, they do it for girls all the time. Fair is fair. Maybe adjusting his diet would work. Then at least you’d know.

Oh…I’ve given benefit of the doubt. Trust me. LOL For me it’s a consistency issue.
His option is I just don’t do it at all or he misses out on the uh, swallowing part. So far he seems to have chosen the later. ;)
And again, with girls IT IS SO DIFFERENT. It’s just not the same.
But. Everyone is different and enjoys different things. Just my opinion. :)

I always thought the flavored condom thing a bit odd, but it does make sense if you are having oral sex and don’t know each other that well. After all, latex is not tasty! I even recommended flavored condoms to a male friend who was exploring his bi- side but certainly didn’t want to bring anything home to his wife.
I’m a swallower myself. 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t taste bad and diet is generally the cause of that tenth time (asparagus is a major culprit and garlic can be bad too). I’ve found that consistency varies from partner to partner and from time to time with the same partner. Better in my mouth than on my face! (On my breasts or any area lower is fine, just not on my face. It’s just a thing I have – it feels like I’m being disrespected if someone comes on my face.)

Forgot something:
Sucking my fingers will do nothing for me. But I’ve found that sucking a guy’s fingers, kind of a preview of things to “come” (pun fully intended), can be kind of turn on for us both.
Also, has anyone else found that semen tastes better from men with vasectomies? I’ve noticed that it tends to have “off” flavors less often and just an overall better taste. Perhaps it’s my imagination . . .
