TGIF, baby! Seriously, I’m all about this week being over. Goodfuckinglord.

Kiddos began school Weds and I proceeded to have two of the. shittiest. days….. Including missing the bus bc we were told it came 10min later than it actually did, retarded arguments, two tiiiiiiiiiiired and therefore overly emotional children, an entire afternoon at the DMV to walk out with out a single thing accomplished except the loss of gas, time and patience and LP possibly sick (her 2nd day of school, doh!)…. All of it done with PC out of town on business. I seriously needed a hug.

*sigh*

I spent the first 7 years carrying all parenting responsibilities solely on my shoulders. It takes a week like this to make me realize how reliant I have become, in the last two years, on having a partner, who shares in the parenting and helps me so much physically and emotionally. I really, really missed him this week.

I think next week should be easier. The kiddos will be in the swing of things. I drove to school every morning this week to meet the bus and help the kiddos find their rooms, etc. This next week I think they are ready to do it on their own. So we should fall into an easier routine of how things really will be. Rather than this discombobulated week from hell.

Goodbye week…don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Gah.

Kiddos are spending the holiday weekend with their dad and grandparents. Honestly, I’m going to miss them. Sometimes when they go to visit their dad I am ready to welcome some adult alone time with PC. Not that I’m not going to welcome the time but having just spent a week away from them on our honeymoon, and PC having been away. I’m actually craving some family time. But the kids are excited and will enjoy themselves. PC and I might even go on a real date. Hehe! Although probably not the date our hot Jamaican friends are going on, to a swingers party this weekend. *jealous*
