Seriously. Insanity has followed me for two weeks. The good kind, but still….busy! I told you just as I would feel caught up from the wedding that I would be running around trying to get us ready to leave for Jamaica! I have myself and two kiddos to pack for, animals and a house to prepare for us to be away for a week….gah.

Took the kiddos school shopping the other day. That was quite the chore to tackle with both kiddos in tow, alone. Goodfuckinglord. I mean it’s always a challenge and super crazy. But this year it was twice the work fun. I’m always amazed by the list the teachers come up with, not so much how much of the supplies that are needed but how ‘brand specific’ they are (Crayola 8 pk water colors- which would be fine except Crayola is always sold out so you can find Crayola 10pk….24pk….or the generic brand, Fiskar scissors, durable plastic two pocket folders…but NOT trapper keepers! …etc…). I sometimes wonder if it’s how they break the parents in for the new year. LOL But it’s done. *WOOT!* PC suggested I order them online next year. Hmm….novel idea. But what fun would that be?! ~wink~ IDK….groceries and school supplies seem like they are best bought in person.

This is the type of convo that makes me shake my head at and wonder how my children have lived to be 8 and 5. This is what I could hear through my bedroom window….

LM- No (insert LP’s name) I don’t think that’s safe. NO!
LP- Sure it is, get on, it’ll be fine

Uh yeah….this is the point I jumped up to look out the window and see what on earth she was trying to talk him into doing that he wouldn’t. Bc honestly, that boy will try ANYTHING once. He has no fear. Well. No biggie. She was only trying to get him to jump off the platform of the swingset (5 feet high) onto a tightly twisted swing/see saw that she was going to release when he jumped. HELLO!?!?! Seriously, I don’t know WTH she was thinking and how she thought that was a good idea. No my little darlings…. NO. Baaaaaad idea.

After I stopped them and said no way in f-ing hell was that ok or should they attempt that again…. I hear him say “I TOLD you that was a bad idea”.
*shaking head*

Reminders-

TFT- Bc I will be gone all next week on my HONEYMOON (woot!) TFT will be posted Sunday night (I suppose I could schedule it to auto-generate a post but I have really shitty luck with that working so….). If you have a picture you would like to contribute for our troops, send it to me asap! The cool kids are doing it ;)

Posting next week will be sporadic if anything at all. It’s unclear whether there will even be internet but I mean seriously….we will be at an all inclusive adult only resort (PC’s friends and business associates keep calling it a ‘swinger resort’ LOLOLOL). *ahem* I’m going to be slightly um, busy ~wink, wink~ I AM going to do my damndest to post an HNT though. Every night at the resort the club has a different theme (mandatory)….pirates, fetish, toga, pajama/lingerie party….you get the idea. So I should have some awesome HNT photo ops *evil grin*

Oh. And I hope to post some wedding pics this weekend before we leave, with a better recap.
