We made it home! WOOT!

The worst things about the trip were the 2 full days travel it takes to get there and back. What was supposed to be a 3 hour layover in Miami on the way there turned in a ten hour layover. What made it worse is that Miami’s airport suuuuuuuuuuuuuucks ass. The little ho dunk airport in Davenport, Iowa was better! Seriously. Literally. nothing. there. [shaking head]

So rather than getting in at 7pm like we were supposed to….we didn’t arrive at the resort until 2:30am. *yawn*

We began our trip home at 10am Saturday. Stood in a line similar to the ones as Disney World to check in with American. When we finally made it to the counter (an hour later) was notified the plane was delayed a bit (which actually worked out, you’ll find out why in a second). Then had to make it through immigration. By the time we made it up into the terminal we only had 20min left before our plane was boarding, which gave us a chance to grab something to eat at Pizza Hut To-Go. See how the delay worked out?! Seeing how we knew what awaited us at the fabulous Miami airport …:::voice drippping with sarcasm:::… BTW. The Jamaica airport fucking rocks. MIA really should take some notes. *ahem*

The fun only began there. Four hour flight into Miami. Arrived late. Had less than an hour to make it through immigration, pick up our luggage to take through customs (where some fucktard thought he would be an asshat to me and then when PC jumped to defend me, the guy was stupid enough to smart off to him…..DOH….have you all seen PC?! Stupid, stooopid little balding man….), when we dropped off our luggage we had less than 20min to make it through security and to our gate. Booked our asses up and literally walked on the plane. Where we arrived in Denver four hours later to find one of my two bags hadn’t made it. I’m actually less surprised any of them made it then I was that one of them didn’t. My $1000′s of dollars of shoes (shut up! LOL) and toiletries/make up arrived safe and sound. My clothes….not yet. I have faith.
