‘H’ is for Heels… (Mute Monday)

Okay. So someone needs to send me some *!%*&%$ sun and soon. We haven’t had any sort of a trace of sun since Thurs. It’s been raining and drizzly and overcast and foggy and cold and we’ve been socked in for three. days. straight. I better see some freakin’ sun Monday or I may seriously have a manic depressive breakdown. Seriously. Sun. NOW. *sigh*
Well. One thing about the weather being shitty and not feeling like doing much of anything other than remain snuggled up in bed….is the amount of movies you can watch.
Leatherheads- ~groan~ Dumb. Booooooooring. Stupid. George Clooney and Renee Zellweger did an awesome job sucking hugely. We ALL fell asleep during it.
88 Minutes- VERY good, loved it. *Great* suspense/thriller.
Then She Found Me- I can’t stand Mathew Broderick and the way he talks all nasaly, it annoys the crap out of me. Luckily he’s not in it a ton but still… I kept thinking I didn’t like it but I also kept getting sucked into it and it was pretty good. Kind of, eh.
City of Ember- SUPER good. The kids and I loved it. A bit like Journey to the Center of the Earth. Good plot and action packed.
Fuck me if our big dog hasn’t been sprayed by a skunk not once, but twice this week. It’s her own damn fault too. Yuck. Thank god for vinegar.

There is still time to contribute for TFT if you haven’t done so already!

Did I just tell you in a recent comment I’m a shoe whore? 200+ pairs and counting. You’re trying to kill me here aren’t you!
That last pic. I need those!
HOT post!
osbassoOctober 12th, 2008 at 10:24 pm
At least you didn’t get the really cold, windy, snowy weather that we did!
TUGOctober 12th, 2008 at 11:50 pm
You should try living in the Seattle area! I lived there for 9 years and didn’t realized how much it sucked until I moved away. You’re making me question my school choice ;)

It’s nice here. :) Yesterday was so beautiful. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky!
Great pics as usual. I don’t know how those women ran in high heels though.

Fabulous! I cant walk in them but I still love to admire :)
GypsyOctober 13th, 2008 at 3:29 am
Like Cake, I can’t walk in them either, but is there anything sexier than a great pair of heels? Happy Mute Monday.

Want sun? Come visit me! Here in Illinois it’s been unseasonably WARM – 84 yesterday when our highs should be in the low 60′s! I’m complaining too – I like fall!
KateOctober 13th, 2008 at 4:44 am
WOW! I’m like the others…I fall off heels…but they look so yummy!
Al (the inventor) GoreOctober 13th, 2008 at 5:13 am
I invented high-heels. They make Tipper look slim.
The TrollOctober 13th, 2008 at 5:24 am
Excellent sexy pics. Most dogs learn the skunk lesson the FIRST time. LOL.
Happy Mute Monday!

Excellent take on the theme! I’ll never give up wearing heels. When I’m too old and tottering to walk in them, I’ll just wear them in my wheel chair.
SassyOctober 13th, 2008 at 7:11 am
God. I. Love. Shoes.
Some seriously sexy pairs there!!
Hope you get some sunshine soon…and a nice smelling dog back!

TUG- one thing is for sure, I KNOW our weather is better than Seattle’s! DOH!
And hey it’s fall, we expect some of this weather, don’t let it effect your school choice! (please ;)

Troll- they do? Hmm…. I’ve found that true with porcupines. But all my dogs are suckers for Skunks. One year we had a skunk family living nearby and I swear to god, at least one of the dogs at all times reeked of skunk. *puke*

I am so entranced by high heels. Thank you so much for posting those images.

Just found your blog and love it! I’ve linked… hope that’s okay? Can’t wait to read more.
Ms. LilyOctober 13th, 2008 at 2:32 pm
I love, love, love the first pair. I do have a thing for red as well as shoes, so they are just perfect.

Perfect pick for you. I retired heels when I left for manufacutring, but I still love to look a them.
Happy MM and thanks for the warning about Leatherheads, too.
rageOctober 13th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
Love heels…just wish I could walk in them.
