Okay. So I am *SO* not a fan of PETA. They are judgmental extremists, IMO. And while I am a vegetarian, it’s completely by choice bc I find meat utterly disgusting. But don’t really feel it’s my job to convince everyone else of that it is too.  Why do I care whatever you all eat?!  *shaking head*  But ANYWAYS…. NBC refused to air this commercial SuperBowl Sunday, saying it was too ‘racy’ for their standards. Again, not a fan of PETA’s, but I think this is the hottest, best commercial I’ve seen in a long ass time. It ROCKS! Haha! (btw, I found it on Bunny’s site, she gets the credit for turning me onto it…no pun intended, doh! lol)

I think I’d eat a zucchini after watching that commercial! Lovely choices, as usual!

Thanks for using me! So cool to be with such other gorgeous faves. =D

I’m not a PETA fan either but wow I LOVE that commercial. They always ban the good stuff. ;)

    Have a great weekend!

It was good to see Biscuit inspired again! Love the commercial and wish folks weren’t so stuffy!

Thank you so much for including me, sweetie!

I agree that the PETA commercial is awesome, and god knows I’M not stuffy, but children watch the Superbowl with their parents. I would be really upset to have a commercial like that play while my children were watching tv. Not to mention the message my daughter might receive…using her body is an acceptable method to persuade others. She’ll get inundated with that message soon enough.

I’ve always been confused as to why it was perfectly fine to show people beating and killing each other on tv, but a tasteful display of the human body was not okay. However, the sexual nature of this commercial is, I think, inappropriate for a family event.

Beautiful images as always. And I loved the commercial. Biscuit has me thinking where I would stand now if I had a young daughter, though paradoxically I don’t think I gave such things much thought when daughter Eva was young.

I saw that a few days ago on the news & thought wtf? That Paris Hilton eating the burger was more sexual! I thought this one was shot beautifully.
And I distinctly remember my parents ushering me out of the room or putting a hand over my eyes when something came on TV that they didn’t want to see, lol.
And I *did* see stuff, let me tell you, but I didn’t turn into a slut because of it; my parents TAUGHT me & instilled good morals.

Biscuit- I agree on some levels. I agree that it prob is too racy. But the SuperBowl commercials seem to push the envelope more and more each year and it kind of felt as if they were turning PETA away for the mere fact they *were* PETA rather than for the content of the commercial.

Who knows. :) Damn though! This would have made a great CQW topic, I should have held out! LOL

Woohoo, nice to be here with the goddess herself!

I’m not purely vegetarian, but that is my first option…I try to follow my friend’s way (he is Chinese…) which is eating in the order of how the food was gathered, the lesser the stress the better, so that makes plants the first to quality…then fish…and so on. ;)

I’m impressed to know that you are vegetarian!
