A shaved kitty is a happy kitty. Right? (review)

So I tried a bottle of Inttimo Kitty and Total body Shave Kreme, it’s one of WET’s numerous products available at SexToy.com.  This particular one was ‘Forbidden Fruit’ and is featured as being “RASH FREE”, enhanced with Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil.  I decided to use the entire bottle before giving my opinion of it.  To give it a fair chance, you know? ~wink~

There has been a bit of controversary in the sex blog world recently regarding reviews.  This site is almost 3 years old.  It’s evolved over the years.  I went through a very nasty separation and divorce proceeding numerous (although most specifically the last) years of an insane amount of unhappiness and depression.  I used this site as a means to tentatively dip my toes back in the water, so to speak, after being forced to abandon my old one.  It was a place to vent and grow and heal.  And obviously it’s become what it is today. Which I’m quite happy with.  It’s a reflection of me, who I am today.  And when I was approached to do reviews for SexToy.com I put a lot of thought into it.  In actuality, it was more like months.

The end decision was to enter into a relationship with them in moderation.  I want to give honest reviews that will be beneficial to my readers.  I don’t want my site to become over run with reviews, I don’t want people to roll their eyes and shut the window when they see I’ve posted a review.  I want the information to be helpful to others.  I assure you, Loverlies, that I have no plans to drastically change my content.

With that said.  I tried this Kitty Kreme. I am pretty fussy and critical of shaving creams and lotions.  I shave everywhere, everyday.  AND I have fairly sensitive skin.  I need something that is going to leave me with a smooth after feeling, with out razor burns, in grown hairs or rawness.  I want my kitty happy after all!

I love the smell of this cream (IMO it’s a lotion).  Very subtle and nice.  They have two other fragrances: Original and Romance.  At first I really liked this product.  It goes on nice and thick, smells great but light, the razor runs smoothly and leaves a very soft feeling.  I was really impressed with it.

At first.

After continual use it began leaving me a bit raw.  I used this cream (lotion) under my arms and for my kitty.  And by the end of the 1.5fl oz bottle my kitty wasn’t so happy. I think if you were shaving less than I like to or possibly didn’t have as sensitive of skin as I do, you might really like it. I actually think everyone should try it once.  It might be something you love. I really was happy with it the first half to 3/4 of the bottle (lol).

You can find Inttimo Kitty Shave Kreme in the Lubes and Lotions section of Sextoy.com, as well as many other great sex toys!

Personally, I found this review quite helpful. I’m fairly certain that I won’t be using it. Sensitive skin and all, you know… :-P

Ok, I’m going to give you my secret to avoiding razor rash in the nethers. I swear it works.

White stick deodorant. As soon as you get out of the shower after shaving, apply white stick deodorant to the area. It HAS to be the white kind. I learned this trick years ago, and it has never failed me. When I forget…ouch. I get all red and burny. I have sensitive skin, too.

    You laugh, but try it!

Thanks for that review. I won’t be trying it. My skin is sensitive and I don’t want it to feel raw.

White stick deodorant? What does that mean? Any old fashioned stick deodorant, or does it have to be unscented? And you just… leave it on all day??

I am always looking for a good cream or lotion for the kitty that won’t leave me with major razor burns..((shudders))….ouch!

I never thought it was possible, but I think I just got TMI from Biscuit :)

I gotta try Biscuit’s trick too. I love Coochie Cream :) It’s worked so well for me for so long now. But around my punctuation time, it does get even more sensitive and I’ll get a little rash. Off to Target I go for some white b.o. stick!!

Biscuit- interesting…..lol. To be honest. I use Skintimate thick for senstive skin and it works awesome. I can always tell when I try a different brand. So *normally* I don’t have an issue with razor burn. And actually, it took this stuff until it was almost gone for me to realize my uh, kitty, was starting to not like it.

    But good to know! ;)

    I have used Biscuit’s method too…does work!

I appreciate an honest review – as long as you give me your honest opinion, I’m totally cool with reviews!

I laughed when I saw your post title in my viewer, because one of my cats recently had a traumatic experience and spent the night at the animal hospital. His front legs are shaved from the IVs and blood draws, so when I saw “shaved kitty” I immediately thought of him and how he’s so not happy right now. LOL
