Crappy weather hit us Thursday. Rained all day and turned to snow that night. Yay…..(*groan*) I actually don’t mind the wet and snow. Green grass and lots of it saves me money bc it means having to buy less hay for the horses and goats! And honestly, it’s pretty. Spring and early summer is my favorite time of year here. It gets SO green and lush. It’s *breathtakingly beautiful*. The source of my complaint comes from the fact that we are still heating our house with space heaters. When it’s sunny and nice out= the house is warm and heated solarly (is that a word? lol). When it’s cold= not so much. *sigh*
We did finally get our underground utilities located. No reason to bore anyone with those details but it wasn’t ‘simple’. Now a trench is required to be dug so that the propane company can come back out to replace the line. Awesome. Sounds FUN, no? Doh.
Oh. And so far since PC popped the fox over a week ago he’s not made another appearance. The downside to this is I’m left wondering What the hell happened to him!?!??!? Is he dead? Did he get spooked and is waiting to come back when things ‘settle’ down? I dunno….. But I’ve become the crazy lady who stands staring out her windows waiting and watching. It’s my OCD. Which I keep attempting to calm by reminding myself- there is nothing I can do. I have done, we are doing, everything we can. Short of forcing them to live in the hen house 24/7 and never seeing daylight, or inviting them into the house (neither of which are options *snort*). Life on a farm. Oh well.

We had a little red fox walk thru the yard yesterday afternoon. They look all cute, when they are not attacking your pets :)

I talked with the fox god and he told me that the fx was dead, due to the suburb marksmanship of PC. So no worries there.
