Kiddos have yet another day off of school. Teacher inservice. I guess it wasn’t really their fault snow canceled school last Friday. PC is in San Diego on business. I figured I would take the kiddos to see Monsters vs. Aliens. We were dying to take them last week and didn’t make it. There is a theater nearby that has it in 3D IMAX….*cue the Oooos and Ahhhs*….. The kids are STOKED.

In other news, Aleka is doing well. She’s incredibly happy to be home. Poor thing. They sent her home on pain meds and I think she might be the happiest she’s been in quite awhile *lol*. While there we fell in love with a kitty that literally stole our hearts. But I said no. We need another cat like we need another well….anything. Doh. Until I began obsessing about this cat. And I had to go back for her. I know, I KNOW. My mom has chastised PC on more than one occasion to stop ‘enabling me’. *snort* Just call me the crazy animal lady. Lord…. She’s sweet and friendly and outgoing and positively *GORGEOUS*. AND!!! she took to our crazy circus like household in incredible stride, already fits right in.

Me? Wow! How cool! And yes, pearls are the SHIT. Every girl should have them in her wardrobe. They can be very presidential (think Barbara Bush) or very naugty (think ME!).
