Busy busy weekend.  Kiddos spent time with cousins and grandparents.  PC and I were able to get out with friends for a divine dinner and then meet up later on with my sister for some beers at a Tavern.

It’s sometimes nice spending some time with one kiddo instead of both.  The dynamics are just different.  In a good and interesting way.  Love them bunches (duh- of course) but some one-on-one time is…..refreshing and enjoyable.  KWIM?  ~smile~

We had LM’s birthday party Sunday at a place called “Bounce”. Which is an building filled with inflatable jumpy things.  Nothing better than contained fun that requires a whole lot of energy and running around!  *snort*  Good times.  LM is in toy/dress up heaven for the next, oh….three days.  *LOL*

*~*~ Crossing my fingers~*~* the weather decides to behave and we are able to hit the pool!

Bc of Memorial Day busy-ness I didn’t get to update very much news.  We have puppies!!!!  I had an insanely busy schedule last week and was just praying Daisy would wait until past Friday afternoon when the craziness ended.  Alas.  That didn’t happen.  She went into labor very early Friday morning (figures bc I’d stayed up until after 1am chatting with my sister….DOH).  I was really looking forward to going on a field trip with LM and his class. But there was no way I could leave her alone.  PC, being the awesome daddy that he is, with the flexible work schedule he has, was able to take LM in my place.  The man’s a saint, volunteering to spend the day with over 60 Kindergartners, lol.  Awwww…..  ~grins~

Anyways- we have five babies, 4 little girls and a boy.

Friday is the kiddos last day of school.  They’re stoked.  I’m stoked.  We’re all really looking forward to the summer…lazy, long days at the amusement park, the pool, just FREE TIME.  I *heart* summer.  *happy sigh*

We somehow managed to be with out kiddos for the night.  One kid had plans to spend the wkend with one grandparent and the other to the other set of grandparents.  Cool. PC and I are looking forward to some relaxing adult time.  Hopefully the weather will hold out…dinner and drinks on an outside balcony somewhere sounds *YUM*.  Hehe.

The kid loves to dress up.  When he grows up he wants to be a Butler or a Chauffeur.  Why you ask?  So he can wear a tuxedo every single day of course!  Don’t *all* six year old little boys wish to wear tuxes when they grow up?!  On other days he’s going to be Superman.  He has high aspirations.  *giggle*

While we had 80′s and sun all week, annoyingly it turned cold as soon as the wkend hit.  Of *course* it did.  …::::rolling eyes:::…
As annoying as the cold weather every. single. wkend is, I’m thinking it might come in handy once school lets out.  The kids and I spend most of our wk days at the pool.  So at least we can look forward to sun for the pool if this trend continues!  :P  So THERE stupid ass cold dreary weather.

Saturday 9: Hot Fun in the Summertime

1. Is summer your favorite season? Why?
Ooooo…..I *LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE* summer.  I live for summers.  Long days, it’s light until past 9, warm so you can run around in shorts, tanks and sundresses, the green grass, birds chirping, lazy days at the pool with the kiddos, drinking beer on the lawn as the sun goes down.  *happy sigh*

2. Do you exercise more in the summer because you wear less clothing?
No.  Not really. I exercise (read: RUN) more when it’s nice bc I CAN.  As opposed to the winter/colder months when I miss days in a row from running bc it’s snowy/cold/wet out.

3. Do you enjoy tanning or are you more concerned about the dangers of basking in the sun?
Both.  *snort*  But I really adore the way the sun feels against on my skin.  And yes, I like the way I look with some color better too.  But YES, I do worry about the dangers of the sun.  Double edged sword.

4. You are on the beach when a waiter appears for your drink order. What do you ask for?
Depends on my mood.  Either a Coors Light or Diet Coke with Vanilla/Coconut Rum.

5. Do you camp in the summertime?
*snort* No.  But in all fairness, I don’t camp in the fall, spring or winter either.  Ha!  I did used to love to camp on the beach at Lake McConaughay.  It was really awesome.  Good memories.

6. What was your favorite summer vacation as a kid?
Hmm…..  We did SO many fun things growing up.  But it had to have been one of our many vacations to Lake McConaughay or Lake Powell.

7. Do you enjoy sleeping outdoors?
Not so much. 

8. Do you throw a summer barbecue every year?
Um.  No, not anymore.  I like going to them though.  :)

9. Have you ever been to a nude beach?
