New York….. (Mute Monday)

Busy busy weekend. Kiddos spent time with cousins and grandparents. PC and I were able to get out with friends for a divine dinner and then meet up later on with my sister for some beers at a Tavern.
It’s sometimes nice spending some time with one kiddo instead of both. The dynamics are just different. In a good and interesting way. Love them bunches (duh- of course) but some one-on-one time is…..refreshing and enjoyable. KWIM? ~smile~
We had LM’s birthday party Sunday at a place called “Bounce”. Which is an building filled with inflatable jumpy things. Nothing better than contained fun that requires a whole lot of energy and running around! *snort* Good times. LM is in toy/dress up heaven for the next, oh….three days. *LOL*
*~*~ Crossing my fingers~*~* the weather decides to behave and we are able to hit the pool!
Happy Monday!!!

I LOVE that second picture. So pretty. I’ve never been to NY but I’ve always wanted to go. One day…
I hope y’all get to swim soon! I got sad news about the pools in our complex so I need to find a new place to go swim. Bleh. Heh.
Happy Monday!

Sounds like a wonderful weekend! Glad the b-day party went well. In some weird way I miss the days of the big party crowd!

Excellent variety of pics. I like the first two best. And the taxi quote. Happy Mute Monday!

You’re the 1st to show a NYC hot dog cart. I think that says it all about life there. My youngest went to a similar “bouncing place” (forget the name) for a friends birthday and had a great time. When I picked him up in their party room there were about 20 kids soaked with sweat – it didn’t smell too good thats for sure.
Happy MM!

I hear yo about the different dynamic with one child to focus on (vs. two or three). Not only can we focus but the particular child you are with does not feel the need to act up or behave like a buttinski in order to ine-up the sibling.
