One of my furbabies has been quite sick for several weeks now with a ‘mysterious’ illness. It’s happened two other times before. The first time we spent an arm and a leg for every blood panel and xray there was to be had. And they found….nothing. And then just as mysteriously as he got sick he got better. That was over a year ago. Once more this winter he came down with the same symptoms, I consulted the vet and tried the same things he had recommended I try before that ‘magically made him better’. And he it worked. He got better again. So this time when he got sick, I saw it coming. I knew it was going to happen again. I proceeded to do the things the vet had recommended previously and kept my fingers crossed that it would pass after a few days (every time has been less than a week) like it always has before. ……Except this time it didn’t. He’s still sick. I have NO idea what is wrong with him. :( So I’m taking him in and I’m very anxious. Part of me is worried they won’t know either. And the other part worried that what if they DO find something… and it’s really major. Keep your fingers crossed for us. *sigh*

Happy Monday!!!

I hope all goes well. We had a similar issue with our dog, but we discovered the issue. Unfortunately, the 3rd go around was too much on her. I hope you have better luck than us.

Great classic pictures. The waistline on Sophia Loren is ridiculous! Holy cow!

Bwahahahahaha to the Mansfield quote. So true! Love the photos – I think Lauren Bacall is my fave classic Hollywood dame. Happy MM!

I miss those days of the more “voluptuous” sexy dames! I think I was born about 30 years too late!
Here’s hoping the furbaby issues are minor and that he has a quick recovery!

Good evening Vixen,
Best of luck with your pup, he’s pretty cute. You might check around and make sure that there are no poisons in the area, that he’s getting into.
What a fine group of classics, Sophia Loren is still a beauty. To my mind, the most beautiful media figure ever.

I love these pics. Who’d of thought Shelly Winters was ever that hot. I’m betting your favorite is Bettie Page.
Happy MM!

I hope your sweet fur baby recovers quickly, nothing worse when they are not well and you can’t fix ‘em.
And those pics are wonderful finds by the way.

Lauren Bacall is one hell of a woman and I love seeing her with these other classics.
I have a sick dog right now and I’m sending yours some good energy, because there’s nothing worse than not being able to ask them why they aren’t well. Good luck. My fingers are crossed.

Buzz Kill- as much as I like Betty Page, my favorite is probably Lauren Bacall or Sophia Loren. :)
Prof Fate- I know, it was an after thought when I realized I hadn’t included her. DOH.

Dana- I do think I preferred those days over what the 70’s brought ‘figure’ wise. At least curves are somewhat more acceptable now.
