Had a fucking *AWESOME* weekend. The weather was finally nice and held out the. entire. weekend. We totally lucked out. Sunny, warm, comfortable…. Sun. Sun. Sun. Yay!
Saturday we headed down South to the Renaissance Festival.
It’s something we do every summer but with such a whirlwind of a schedule it was almost on it’s way out. It’s a long ass drive up there but we always have such a good time. Good people watching. ~grins~
This time was even more fun bc we ran into TUG and his family. They moved here earlier in the summer and we’d hoped to meet up at the Festival but weren’t sure it would work out. Fortunately it did. His wife is a knock-out and TUG’s not so bad himself ~wink~ Their kiddos were beyond adorable. His son and LM hit it right off. It was quite cute.
(sorry, this is as good as you get so that TUG can keep his anonymity)
Sunday was PC’s and mine anniversary and it was the best ever. He completely spoiled/pampered me…… Waking me up with kisses, roses and the sweetest card ever. Then Starbucks in bed. Amazingly hot and steamy daytime ‘fun’ ~wink wink~. New pretty toes at our favorite nail place (I got polka dots!). And then he surprised me with dinner at Benihana’s. YUM. He makes my heart go pitter patter. The day was most definitely *SIGH* worthy.

Belly dancers and Renaissance Faire, 2 of my favorite things. We have a faire in Pennsylvania we go to every couple of years and I enjoy it way more than the kids. I draw the line at getting dresses up though.
And nice pics for the eastern theme. We use to have a middle eastern restaurant that took 3 hours to get thru and included belly dancers. Unfortunately, they didn’t fair well after September 11th.

meeting TUG and his family out and about sounds fantastic too. :) the renaissance festival looks like it would be so much fun to visit! yay for a lovely sunny weekend for your special weekend.
