Holy snow people!  We officially got our first snow storm this week.  And sadly, you would think we lived in California.  OH NO…it’s snowing!!!!! Heaven forbid, DON’T leave your house but if you do, by all means drive like shit.  And while we’re at it, let’s CANCEL all the schools.  *rolling eyes* Seriously people.  It’s SNOW.

The very best part of my week though was when although our schools were not canceled (yes, we were one of three districts NOT canceled), they did cancel parent/teacher conferences.  BUT didn’t bother to tell any of the parents. Oh.  Wait.  They did.  By sending home a ‘note’ with the children.  That’s a great plan for the parents who had conferences the next day.  NOT so much for the parents who’s times were scheduled immediately after school.  See, MY kids didn’t get home until over an HOUR after I had already left FOR the p/t conferences.  Imagine my surprise to show up *on time* for the conferences to only find out that everyone had already left.  Hmm….  I was a teeeensy tiiiinsy bit furious upset.  The cancellation of these conferences was VERY poorly handled.  I so will be taking this up with the principal (whom I already wasn’t all that fond of in the first place…add this to the list of things I don’t like about her).

*grumble, grumble*

Tomorrow is HALLOWEEN.  *SQUEAL* This is my absolute favoritest holiday of the year (if you hadn’t picked up on that already, hehe…).  Sadly, we will not be going to the totally fun, sexy, awesome Exotic Ball we usually go to due to the stupidity of the radio station who hosts it.  BOO!! *pout* (I’m still fuming about that one) BUT we are going out ON Halloween instead (which is how it should be, you know?!).  My sister, PC and I have totally awesome costumes planned.  (which will be revealed soon, I promise…:::wink:::…)

I’m *Giddy* with excitement.  Hehe!!

1) What are three mistakes someone could make on the first date with you that would automatically make you turn down a second date with them?

1. Being rude to me or anyone else we encounter on our date,  most especially wait staff.
2. I I I I I I….if you’re going to toot your own horn the entire time we’re together, I’m good.  We’re done.
3. Not being outgoing/talkative enough.  I am *not* a very talkative person, nor am I very outgoing.  And if both of us are that way…we are going nowhere fast.  Except maybe to uncomfortable-ville.

2) Pick an animal that best displays your personality. :)
I have to go with our Mini Aussie, Daisy.  Anyone see The Golden Compass?  PC is positive Daisy is my demon…..she is positively beyond neurotic and anxiety ridden.  *LOL*

3) If your S/O stopped having sex with you, how long would you stay?
Well….as  long as I was still getting everything else I needed emotionally, physically, psychologically, etc I’d stay forever.  The agreement is I can have sex with whomever I want and keep him as my bitch.  ~grins~

4) Are you more passive or aggressive when the relationship becomes physical?
I *can* be aggressive.  I think I’m fun when I’m that way.  But more often than not I’m the passive one.  Am I still considered passive when I tell him what to do????  I’m the passive aggressive Domme.  Seriously. Ask him.

5) Have you ever been INSIDE a store that sold adult themed toys and videos?
Yep.  Many a time.  Both crappy ones and really great ones.

Bonus (as in optional): What percentage of women do you think are capable of handling being in a “friends with benefits” relationship?
Less than 30%. I just think most women are incapable of having ‘emotion-free’ sex w/o developing attachments, wanting more.  Don’t get me wrong- their are women out there, I just think it’s a low percentage

How about men?
More.  I think most men are more capable but IDK how much more.

Saturday was the last day of soccer for the kiddos.  Weather held out and we were able to spend the afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch.  Unfortunately due to our record breaking super cold temps this fall, pumpkin picking was rather sad.  We still had a good time though. 

AND as luck may have it, it snowed and was super cold (again) on Sunday, so we ended up having choosen a good day to go!  The kiddos and I spent the day carving their pumpkins and baking pumpkin seeds.  Fun times.

Just in time for Halloween…..a costume review!!!  The great people at sextoy.com let me try out a super cute and sexy costume from Masquerade Costumes.  Introducing G.I. Girl!  Included is a camouflaged cropped jacket, shorts, Lycra bikini top, hat and dog tags.

Now, I KNOW costumes.  As mentioned numerous times before, I am Halloween obsessed.  If I had my way we would celebrate Halloween at least several times a year.  How about an Exotic Ball in July?!  That’s what I’m talking about!  Hehe…. 
Here’s what I’m going to tell you about this costume:

• ALL 5 pieces fit really well.  Sometimes one pc fits better than another, you love the top, but not the shorts or whatever.  Totally not the case with this one.
• It not only fits well, but is *size accurate*.
• It’s well made.  Again, some brands are cheesy/flimsy, poorly made.  Not this one. 
• While super sexy, it has good coverage and isn’t ‘see through’ where you wouldn’t want it to be.
• Very comfortable.  The top stays where/as it should.  And so do the shorts.  They don’t ride up.  Very important in my book.
• Reasonably priced.  Which is a bonus, especially when you consider that some costumes you still have to pay additionally for many more extras.  Not the case with this one.  Pair it with a pair of sexy boots you already have in your closet, you’re set!

I give this costume an A+.  There is still time to order your own fun/sexy/awesome costume in time for Halloween, so get on it people!

Ok and I’m going to do something I never do.  I’m going to pimp a guy and his site.  I discovered him about a month ago or so, Barefoot Dreamer has been one of his biggest cheerleaders. And well, I’m a huge fan of hers, so I gotta invest someone in someone she adores, right?!  So Ken participated in HNT for the first time and he came out of the gates running hard and fast and just totally on fire!  He’s a single dad trying to get back on his feet after a divorce and IMO, he’s doing an amazing job.  I urge you to check him out. Okay?  Okay.  ~wink~

Half the week was crap (snow, cold).  Half the week was somewhat decent (high 50′s/60′s, sunny).  Eh.  This has been such an odd fall. I’ll take it!  SO much soccer has been missed bc of such a crappy fall.  This weekend is the kiddos last game.  It will be somewhat nice to have our evenings (twice a week) and Saturdays back.

There was a cluster fuck (once again) regarding LM and his teacher/school the end of last week.  Conferences are a week away and I half considered holding out until then, but after the weekend went by (last) I decided I couldn’t let it continue to sit w/o talking to her.  I sent a note Monday with LM, for his teacher, and am really happy I did.  Turns out there was a mistake.  I’m glad I brought up the matter.  Still a bit anxious for this upcoming conference though.  There seems to have been such a disconnect….  I guess we’ll see, eh?

The kids “Fall Carnival” is Friday night.  Fun fun fun….. ~wink~  And Halloween is almost a week away.  *SQUEAL*  So totally exited. …As is my completely costume obsessed son and um, family…  *LOL*  My kiddos have figured out what they are going to be.  Have you!?

A couple has been dating for over a year now.  In that time, he’s never uttered the “L” word.  The woman says she would like to hear it.  NEEDS to hear it every now and again.  Her boyfriend says ‘they’re just words and she should be able to feel his love’.

Um. Say what?  I admit it, I’m needy.  I am.  I’m sure PC won’t hesitate to agree.  *LOL*  If needing to HEAR someone tell me they love me makes me even more needier. Than that’s what I am.  There is NO. WAY. I could be in a serious relationship with someone and not ever be told they loved me.  Those three words are important to me.  *Of course* feeling it is even MORE important.  Possibly most important.  But I also want, need and have to hear it…..

I guess my biggest question is….WHY won’t he say ‘I love you’?  If she’s voiced that it’s important to her.  And if she is truly important to him, then why can’t he say it to make her feel better?  If someone flat out refuses to tell me they love me, it really would make me wonder if he really even does.  I guess I would need a lot more explanation about WHY he won’t say it.

What do you think?  Could you remain *happily* (ahh….the operative word there) in a relationship with someone who refused to tell you they loved you?
