Ok and I’m going to do something I never do.  I’m going to pimp a guy and his site.  I discovered him about a month ago or so, Barefoot Dreamer has been one of his biggest cheerleaders. And well, I’m a huge fan of hers, so I gotta invest someone in someone she adores, right?!  So Ken participated in HNT for the first time and he came out of the gates running hard and fast and just totally on fire!  He’s a single dad trying to get back on his feet after a divorce and IMO, he’s doing an amazing job.  I urge you to check him out. Okay?  Okay.  ~wink~

Half the week was crap (snow, cold).  Half the week was somewhat decent (high 50′s/60′s, sunny).  Eh.  This has been such an odd fall. I’ll take it!  SO much soccer has been missed bc of such a crappy fall.  This weekend is the kiddos last game.  It will be somewhat nice to have our evenings (twice a week) and Saturdays back.

There was a cluster fuck (once again) regarding LM and his teacher/school the end of last week.  Conferences are a week away and I half considered holding out until then, but after the weekend went by (last) I decided I couldn’t let it continue to sit w/o talking to her.  I sent a note Monday with LM, for his teacher, and am really happy I did.  Turns out there was a mistake.  I’m glad I brought up the matter.  Still a bit anxious for this upcoming conference though.  There seems to have been such a disconnect….  I guess we’ll see, eh?

The kids “Fall Carnival” is Friday night.  Fun fun fun….. ~wink~  And Halloween is almost a week away.  *SQUEAL*  So totally exited. …As is my completely costume obsessed son and um, family…  *LOL*  My kiddos have figured out what they are going to be.  Have you!?

    Would you believe we had to cancel our trip to the pumpkin patch because of too much snow?!! Looks like we’ll be buying from the store. We also had to take down all our outside decorations because of this stupid weather, grrr.

    Hope the conference thing works out.

    on Ken? i just adore this man. he really is a wonderful person/father/blogger and so damn sexy it makes me tingle in my nether regions. mmmm yummy! he can be my CSI guy any day. i agree that he’s totally worth pimping since he’s so honest, open and thoughtful *did i mention sexy?*

    my young one is geared for next Saturday, but my first born wanted to be Hannibal Lecter, and since it’s not appropriate for his age, he’s a bit stumped. we’ll figure it out this weekend. hope the fall carnival is a a blast, and enjoy your weekend!

    Lovely pics as always. I still haven’t made it all the way around – too many kiddos around with it being a long weekend.

    Man Vixen..again I am so honored you and BFD have been so cool and awesome to me. I know you have a great hubby and BFD does too. Gives a guy like me a lot of hope. Its been a long road and certainly some heartbreak along the way, but I know someday its all gonna be OK. have a great great weeekend dear. Viva la HNT! :-)
