Then looks away to keep from weeping.
Unsure of what to say or do,
Her previous fears returning fast,
The comfort gone- it could not last.
Disbelieving, fearing heart- it stops…
He reaches over and between her hands
Slips his own, the moment planned.
He’s found his way into her heart.
Every fear, now joy imparts.
