Anyone watch the Grey’s Anatomy/The Practice cross over???  Anyone else annoyed by it?!?!  Grrr…..  I was mad and disappointed and hated everyone!  I hope the entire second half of this season isn’t like this!

Where we live, ok in the state we live in, there is a season that is called Mud Season.  Swear to God.  We have Fall, where the colors are exquisite, beyond beautiful.  If you live here, you MUST experience fall in the mountains at least once.  Fall in the city is NOT the same as FALL in the mountains.  Then Ski Season.  Which is an experience in itself as well.  I spent a year out of high school working at a ski resort. It was a snow boarders dream come true!  And then….comes Mud Season.  The massive amount of snow begins to melt.  And all the ski towns that are inhabited by tourists and college students and whom ever else, leave.  And what you find is mud.  So. much. muck.  The ski towns become dead and mucky.  Eventually the snow all melts and the mud dries up and the grass and flowers appear and Summertime emerges (which is again, a season within itself) and with it the tourists and more temporary inhabitants.

As you can probably tell, I adore the state I live in.  I grew up in it, living it, loving it.  It’s an ‘experience’. Why do I bring this up in January?  Bc we have had *THE* oddest winter weather wise and this is exactly what it feels like right now.  I finally had to wash my Jeep the other day- despite the fact our driveway is a god-damned MESS, bc I couldn’t stand it anymore.  And *of course* I drove home and up our driveway and it was immediately covered (once again) with mud.  *SIGH*    But for 15min I felt happiness that my car was clean and I could see out my windows.  That’s brief satisfaction right there! ~wink~

One week from today my lush girlfriends and I will be in VEGAS.  Would you believe the preparation involved for 3 fashion whores like us to go?!  *GIDDY GRIN*
