I’ve never been a big fan of the food in Vegas either. Nothing to write home about. People go to Vegas for the gambling, shows, clubs…etc.

I don’t get the whole kids-in-Vegas thing either! We stayed a few blocks from NY-NY at the Wynn and barely saw ANY kids while we were there- sweeeeet!!

This was your 1st Vegas trip? Why am I surprised by that?

We had dinner one night in NY-NY, before we saw Zoomanity and I remember seeing that ape!

Vegetarian or not, who really needs to see a fridge of meat out in the open??

Sounds like a lot of fun so far. I stayed off the strip with a friend so I only ate/drank on the strip once. It didn’t seem so bad with just the one time, but I can see how it would add up fast!

The food is just a downer. I mentioned that too. It is just way way way too expensive and NO it did not taste good. We ended up eating a lot of tacos in the tequila bar of Bally’s because they were YUUUUUM!

Funny you mention the bathrooms – I was going to tell you that about CU. I started laughing so hard in the bar (and ummm, well,,,, was a bit tipsy, and *ahem I have had four kids… you see where this is going here) I had my legs crossed and was trying to make an emergency exit to the bathroom – only WHAT? it isn’t it the back – in a panic I found out they were downstairs. needless to say I didn’t QUITE make it(tmi)… *shaking head – damn alcohol.

We get in the bathroom and there is a guy – he was from Sweden and huge (tall) and peeing and I started laughing so hard (again)… sigh. Seeing two maids beat on a 6’6″ swedish guy as he is peeing (in the wrong bathroom) was just too much for my bladder – thankfully I DID make it in fast enough not to make too big of a fool of myself – ohhhh memories. Damn bathroom location ;)

TUG- lmao, no shit. IDK. I swear we *thought* we were making good selections. But honestly, it didn’t matter. We found some sweet deals on alcohol and really, in the grand scheme of things, that’s what counted the most for us. Hehe….

Alfie- did I make it sound not fun so far??? The food prices kind of became a running joke bwtn us, bc we were having a fabulous time by this point! :)
