What the funk?

I woke up in a funk.  For the second day in a row.  Which is….rare for me.  Funks, I’m familiar with occasionally.  Funks that last more than a day…..strange.

But then I went out.  And I met a girl.  Wickedly cute she was!  I was flirty.  And fun!  SHE was flirty.  Forty-five minutes later I realize….. 


*CLICK* 

She was young…..  (at one point I think…   ‘does she realize my age?!?!’     Haha!)  You know, nothing boosts your self esteem like being hit on twice in a months time by a much younger crowd!  *swoon*

I’m kicking myself though, I didn’t get her number.  She was clearly interested.  Tossing out every signal and yet….not until I’m in my car does it occur to me in my giddy-ness that I failed to do so.  Damn! (Stupid girl!)

I’ll be going back.~wink~

    Very sexy! I was hit on by a younger woman this week. Major ego boost. Jill was intrigued when I told her, and we fantasized about what could’ve happened had I reciprocated. (I was in the grocery store checkout aisle, and in a bit of a rush, or I might have practiced my flirting skills a bit.)

    You look on the younger side anyway, and I think without context it’s difficult to tell how old someone is. Besides, after a certain age you’re just lumped into the “adult” category and it doesn’t even matter.

    Or she just saw a hot chick and didn’t even think about age. :)

    Maggie- possibly…. I think it must be my mind frame. I meet a girl I KNOW is college age and then *knowing* I’m in my late 30′s…. My first thought is how crazy that seems. I need to get over it. :)
