cqw_button-200px-2.jpg BUY GEODON NO PRESCRIPTION, (click the button for more info, email me if you have any great ideas for a topic, I'd love to hear from you!)

Have you heard the buzz around the male birth control pillAccording to the scientists that developed it, the single dose, hormone free drug prevents the ejaculation of sperm.  There are many topics I could go into surrounding this but for today, lets just focus on one thing...  Would you trust your man to take it and be responsible for the birth control in this fashion?

A recent poll found that most women don't think their men could be trusted to take it.  In fact, over 50% of the women polled said no.  Are women just that much of control freaks or do we really not trust our men?

Andrea Grimes wrote an article on Heartless Doll where she made a pretty valid point:

"I can manage the monumental task of popping a pill every dinnertime so that I don't have a baby if I don't want to. Look, GEODON dangers, Rx free GEODON, I know men are portrayed as bumbling buffoons in cleaning product commercials and on sitcoms, but most of the ones I know manage to get out of bed every day and lead mostly normal lives, low dose GEODON. Herbal GEODON, I'm betting they can take a pill."

Another interesting tidbit, in a U.S, buy cheap GEODON. GEODON online cod, survey by Kaiser Family Foundation, they found that 71% of American men said they would consider this birth control option.  And of those men, online buy GEODON without a prescription, Generic GEODON, 66% would be willing to try the pill.

Would I trust the person I was with to take it?  If we're talking about PC, absolutely (not that he would need to, is GEODON safe, GEODON coupon, lol, we're talking hypothetically).  He is much more reliable and responsible than I am.  Would I trust just any man to?  Um no....I would really want to be in control of that.  But that seems so hypocritical of me when I think about it.  Great, cheap GEODON no rx, GEODON no prescription, I'm controlling AND hypocritical!  (lol)  Hmmm.....  I guess I would need to be put in the circumstance realistically for me to be able to answer more truthfully.

What do you think?

Hypothetically? I’d trust me. Of course, I’ve been snipped so no worries there anymore.

I think that if you’re in a long term trusting relationship it doesn’t matter who’s taking the pill. I’m not sure I’d be a fan of no-ejaculation though!

However, I take the pill even when I’m not in a relationship because a) it helps me know when I’m going to get my period and makes them easier to deal with and b) if I happen to have fun times with a guy I’m doubley protected just in case of condom-failure. It gives me peace of mind. The chances of some random guy you hook up with being on a birth-control pill – probably not likely.

I think that since it helps with other hormone issues as well as birth control I figure it might as well be me taking it. It’s not that I don’t trust a guy with it, there are men with health issues that manage to take medication every day and this is really no different, but the pill for me is not just about birth control.

    xxxx

  3.   DangerousLillyNo Gravatar Says:

(I’m pretty sure he still ejaculates, there’s just no *sperm* in it)

Good point…my body quite liked the extra hormones and roughly voiced its displeasure when I was forced to go off of them. So then why does it have to be one or the other? Why can’t it be a joint effort, you BOTH take it? We all know the pill isn’t fool proof bc many rely on you remembering to take it at the same time everyday. So if you’re both on it….

better than two condoms at once, thats for sure!

  4.   PCNo Gravatar Says:

Hey, I just read up on it a little and I actually want to take it. Time released testosterone… Count me in. My training will take on a whole new dimension ;)

With respect to the whole trust issue, I think again that that opens up a new can of worms. If a marriage has trust issues, well then…

Personally, I couldn’t imagine telling my wife to take care of birth control. Like DangerousLilly said, I know some women would go kicking and screaming if they had to stop taking the pill. But then that’s their choice. I’ve known too many men who wanted their wives to get their tubes tied. WTF? Go get your tubes tied, Dude!

Getting snipped was certainly less than comfortable. But all things considered, it was very painful and I healed up almost immediately.

So Hon, if you want me on hormones, just say the word. You know me, I’ll do anything you want.

I don’t need BC anymore but, NO! I would not trust a man who can’t remember to take a damn vitamin to take a birth control pill.

  6.   ~KNo Gravatar Says:

If you market it as a pill that will turn our cocks into porn star material we will take it every day and twice on Sunday..I’m just sayin! :-) I think it all boils down to just like it is in the real world. Responsible guys will take it and irresponsible douche bags will fail. I think the as a guy it’s like “double-baggin” it. What I mean is you don’t have to worry if she is responsible with her pill or not, or if she is trying to trap you so there is plenty of incentive to take your pill. However, I agree with PC..getting the seedless grapes is the way to go. Then there is no pill to worry about every day. Personally though if I had to take a pill I am going to hold out until they make a “Morning After” pill for Men *snicker*

  7.   Westcoast WeirdoNo Gravatar Says:

I would trust Quicksilver, but I’m so used to being responsible for myself that I don’t/wouldn’t trust another person doing it for me.

  8.   JeffNo Gravatar Says:

I think it all depends on what your relationship with your partner is not whether they are male or female. I personally would trust my wife to take a pill every day (she doesn’t have to – beautiful thing called the IUD, best invention of man ever!) but I would not trust a woman who I did not have a deep and honest relationship with, hence why I got snipped and why I would still wear a condom.

  9.   ms.inconspicuousNo Gravatar Says:

It’s not that I wouldn’t trust the guy, it’s that I’d feel better with the birth control in my proverbial hands.

I think that the consequences of having to be the one to actually carry and birth the ensuing bc-failure baby is a little more motivation to take the pill every day.

  10.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

Ms. I, good to have you stop by. Honored :)

I think what you said is probably the much more eloquent way in which I was trying to put it. So thank you. And yes, agree with you.

  11.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

13 messages….ah yes, snipping is really the best. No worries, no thoughts of BC. (when realistic as in your case)

  12.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

K- a morning after pill for men? LOL I think that’s called Advil ;)

Amy, I think a lot of women are in your position and feel that way about taking the pill themselves. But I agree, some guy you randomly hook up with is most likely *not* going to be on it and really, then you’d be using a condom anyways…. :)

  13.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

PC…silly ;) Let’s not proceed down that path just yet…. *wink*

I also think you are the exception to the rule. That being evident in the main reason you even were snipped in the first place before your first marriage. You are extremely caring and thoughtful.

    xo

  14.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

jr- um….trust has nothing to do with it. It would be completely non-applicable. ;)

I really think the only people who should be considering their male partner taking the male form of the pill would be people in a committed relationship.

But who knows…maybe someday down the line men will willingly take it *in addition* to using a condom. I know quiet a few men who are uberly gun shy about being ‘trapped’ by an ‘accidental’ pregnancy. So…. *shrug*

  15.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

jr- ok so hypothetically (wink), yes. Then other options, including the male pill, could be considered. And would be an option, assuming we are talking ‘committed’ relationships.

  16.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

Of course. That would be my first choice as well.

  17.   Athol Kay: Married Man Sex LifeNo Gravatar Says:

I read the linked article. I seriously LOLed when I got to the phrase “dry ejaculation”. Sounds horrible, I don’t see the female partner being satsified with that.

Sounds a marriage ender like a bad vasectomy.

  18.   PCNo Gravatar Says:

I don’t think they’re dry as in no liquid. They’re dry in terms of the semen as no sperm. So there’s still ejaculate.

  19.   ElleNo Gravatar Says:

Ms.inconspicuous got the point I wanted to make: if I’m the one who’d suffer the consequences of failed birth-control, then I’d much rather be in charge of birth-control. Sure, not all guys are assholes and many would stick with me through the situation, but in the end, I’d be carrying the baby or getting an abortion, not he. If he doesn’t suffer the consequences as directly, then perhaps he won’t be as inclined as me to remember to take the pill.

That said, it’s also a question of personality, I think. I totally trust BT, but I totally wouldn’t trust him to take a pill every day. He forgets that kind of stuff. I don’t. No offense meant or anything, there’s other stuff I forget and he remembers.

I’d see it best for single men who sleep around a little and don’t want to leave babies behind. Why trust a girl you don’t know that she’s on the pill and takes it regularly, when you can do it yourself? Both girl and guy taking it, as a double precaution, sounds good too.

  20.   Athol Kay: Married Man Sex LifeNo Gravatar Says:

“The pill, a single dose taken a few hours before having sex, affects contraction of the muscles that control ejaculation, but wouldn’t interfere with performance or orgasm sensation, researchers at King’s College London say. The result is a dry ejaculation.”

Seems to say you orgasm, but no ejaculation.

  21.   SassyNo Gravatar Says:

Seeing as my birth control pills make my tits go huge but at the same time lowers my sex drive, then I would say NO !!!

I don’t want my boyfriends with moobs and a limp dick
