Can you seriously believe next week it will be July?!?!?!  Gah!!! It was barely spring/warm weather…it was June and then *POOF*  Sigh….  I can whole heartedly say though, that our summer weather has hit.  As in….it has been in the high 90′s this past week.  My sister and I were in Sun Goddess mode Monday and Tuesday, taking the six kiddos to the pool (hers and ours).  Thursday I took the kiddos to the zoo and it was 99degrees…..  Whoa.  See why the pool always seems so appealing to me?  Any days involving near triple digit temps should most definitely involve water as well.  Just sayin….

Farm life….
We don’t have the ‘best’ relationship with our neighbors to the south of us.  They love to come and bitch about something we’ve done/they don’t like (a fence issue, dog issue, other animal issue….) and always when PC has conveniently just left.  Gotta love tactics like that.  So yes…things are relatively ‘strained’.  Well, so the other night when a different (nicer) neighbor stopped by at 10pm-ish to let us know one of our horses was down on the road (again- we do have a annoying slight problem of our miniature horses slipping through the fence often)…imagine my um, opposite of chagrin delight to find out it wasn’t one of our horses, but rather the not-so-nice-neighbors horse (donkey…same difference-kind-of-not-really-but-you-get-the-idea, lol).  *SMIRK*

A week from today I’ll be in Roxy-ville (with PC in tow *grins*) getting my Roxy fix.  It’s been too long…..various trips that fell through in June prevented us from getting together like we usually do.  My happy meter tends to go down when we don’t get to see each other at least once a month somewhat regularly.
