Dating strippers: Cool or not so hot?
We're not ashamed to admit that the thought of dating an exotic dancer has crossed our minds, on occasion. Look at it this way: She's confident, taking ASENDIN, Cheap ASENDIN no rx, experienced and not afraid to be a real woman -- in the bedroom or elsewhere. Strippers pride themselves on having great physiques, order ASENDIN no prescription, Effects of ASENDIN, which they maintain to a tee, and they've got less hair on their entire bodies than Britney had on her shaved head.

But -- and this is a rather large "but" -- all those great things aside, ASENDIN canada, mexico, india, Buy ASENDIN online cod, could you make a dancer your full-time girlfriend? Sure, she's sexy and has some jaw-dropping outfits for the bedroom, ASENDIN without prescription, Comprar en línea ASENDIN, comprar ASENDIN baratos, but could you bring her home to mom?

Ironically, I ran across this article while doing some research for a post a few weeks ago (THIS ONE) and tucked it away to address later.  Why I say ironically is because after meeting the oh-so-hot Thirteen/Amy Winehouse girl this past weekend who is an exotic dancer, ASENDIN coupon, ASENDIN class, this seemed fitting to discuss.

I've never actually talked candidly with someone who is an exotic dancer.  I mean I've talked to them while IN a gentleman's club, but that is very different then in a social setting where you are kicked back, ASENDIN from canadian pharmacy, Where can i order ASENDIN without prescription, buying each other drinks, talking about each others lives.  You know?  My fairly vanilla sister, order ASENDIN from mexican pharmacy, Ordering ASENDIN online, who has never been in a strip club of any kind, was fascinated.  Which, ASENDIN duration, About ASENDIN, it was very enlightening and interesting to say the least!

Her boyfriend and her had recently broken up. I have no idea why really.  But between this article and then our night with her, ASENDIN online cod, Where can i cheapest ASENDIN online, it got me thinking.  I would imagine it might be difficult to be in a relationship with a stripper/dancer.  I think you would have to be very secure with yourself to not let her (I guess it could be a 'him' too, huh?) clients/job threaten/bother you.

Could you date a stripper?

That said, ASENDIN steet value, ASENDIN from canada, it wouldn't bother *me*.  I don't judge people, I don't care what their occupation is.  So I wouldn't have a problem telling other people.  I try to look at all angles and not be jealous of situations.  I think I do a pretty good job...not saying I don't have my moments.  But as long as I felt secure in *us* I think it would be fine, ASENDIN used for. ASENDIN pictures, It's a job.  As long as I feel like she's into ME, and wants to be with ME.  Sure.  I guess though also, ASENDIN blogs, ASENDIN without prescription, maybe there is a difference in dating someone and being in a relationship with someone.  Does that change things for me?  I don't think so...

Aside from the fact that I’m out of the dating scene, I think I could date one– NOW.

I’ve been gently broken in over the past few years, especially since last year with respect to worst fear scenarios. You know what I mean? In other words, I’ve gotten a crash course in learning to be comfortable with myself. I’ve struggled at times, but I think in general I’ve come a long way.

And let’s not forget that I’ve teased since day 1 about my stripper GF/Fiance/Wife. ;)

And I love and miss when you do that little pole dance grind of yours with me. Oh man!!!

What do you think Hon? Could I handle it?

    I love you!!!

  2.   JeffNo Gravatar Says:

I could totally date a stripper. I’ve never understood this idea that my wife/girlfriend can’t or shouldn’t be with other men. It’s her life and her body to do with as she pleases.

On a side note, I once knew a guy who was the son of a stripper and it was interesting talking to him about how he grew up. Nothing surprised him at all. He was very comfortable with sex. Actually he had the attitude that I hope to instill in my kids as they get older.

  3.   Professor FateNo Gravatar Says:

While in college, I dated a stripper (I dated twins and roommates, too – but that is another story for another day). She was a classmate who was working her way through school. Initally, I did not know about her student job. The relationship ended shortly after I found out. I got in trouble for going to a strip club.

First, the girl had some issues. [They could have been my issues or my perceptions or just faulty memories.] She was a narcissist with self-esteem issues. [That is a hind-sight diagnosis.] She was a terrible drinker and she drank too much. She left the “confident, experienced and not afraid to be a real woman” persona at work.

    But, damn, she was hot.

  4.   PCNo Gravatar Says:

Um… I never said I want a stripper GF, other than Vix. Just for the record.

Don’t be trying to get me in trouble jr. ;)

  5.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

jr- “Organic, no-hormone, free range stripping.”

    That’s awesome. Haha! LOVE THAT.

I think, from what I know (which isn’t much and is mainly reading) strippers tend to have quite a bit of baggage and ‘issues’. So I think that might make them more difficult to be in a relationship with as well, but I wasn’t wanting to hit on that aspect when I brought this up. I just think in general, not enough men are secure enough/don’t have jealousy issues to date one.

And I think you are right. I think a female/female relationship is going to be easier to swing.

  6.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

PC- I think you could totally handle it. You don’t have jealousy issues in that manner. And the ones you do, aren’t raging out of control, you have them in check. :)

I’ve broken you in well. *grins*

  7.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

    Jeff- how interesting!

And I love your attitude regarding your wife.

  8.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

Prof Fate- as I was telling jr, I think quite a few strippers have ‘issues’. Various ones, many of them like you described.

jr- yeah, PC was referring to me. He’s always called me his stripper wife. I think it has more to do with my love to be w/o clothes and exhibitionistic (I’m pretty sure that’s not a word, but whatever, lol) side.

Stripping was something high on my list of intriguing things I’d like to do in my life. But I’m not really sure what the market is for almost 40yro women…..

If only I had the confidence in my 20′s that I do NOW- Damn!

  9.   PCNo Gravatar Says:

I wouldn’t let it stop you now hon. I totally think you’d do well and would encourage you for real to do that or the coyote thing or whatever. You should pursue your dreams.

    I love and support you.

And yes, you definitely have me well trained.

  10.   danielleNo Gravatar Says:

I have always (in my younger years) tossed the idea of being a stripper around. Then I was friends with one and I decided against it. She was very Jaded when it came to men and I would prefer to stay blind to that side!

  11.   JimNo Gravatar Says:

Lol . . . this question made me instantly think of a scene from “Fletch,” for some reason.

[And yes, I know very well that strippers are not hookers.]

Mrs. Stanwyck — “She looks like a hooker. Look at her. Look at her! Could you love someone who looked like that?”

Fletch — “What are you talking about? Of course not! Five, ten minutes tops, maybe.”

    XO

  12.   vixen kittenNo Gravatar Says:

This would be a big NO for me. I think I’ve mentioned before that I’ve never been to a strip club. My opinion has always been that they are where skeevy men go to get attention from women who otherwise probably wouldn’t give them the time of day. I’ve never had a problem attracting the attention of a woman I was interested in, or getting one to dance and take off her clothes for me.

Read my blog. I have no hang ups or issues about sex, and I’m extremely comfortable talking about it. My reasons for not wanting to date one are many. Over the years I’ve worked with a few. They have a very jaded outlook on life, on men, and on love. I especially saw this first hand when my sister danced for 3 years. As the money easily rolls in each night, a part of them….a part of their heart seems to leave. Maybe it comes from being judged so much. From your value being placed in your attractiveness. I don’t know. My sister is a stunning girl, and made an insane amount of money dancing. I’m just not sure what it did to her ability to see men/people as anything more than someone who gives gifts and money in exchange for attention. I saw this in former coworkers who danced at one time or another as well. It’s like they lose the ability to bond and form attachments. To know a person inside, to know that they have flaws, yet to love them anyway. In a couple of days, my sister will turn 30. She is on her 3rd marriage. *sigh*

So, I guess you can say that I prefer to date a woman who uses her mind and not her body to get ahead in life. I’m not judging the ones who choose a different road, I just don’t have the desire to intertwine my life with theirs.

As always, my humble opinion, based on my own personal life experiences.

    xoxo

I’ve only been to a strip club once and that was with Woody (not with a woody). But girls like them too. And I would love to take Vixen to one and watch her do her thing.

  14.   The Urban CowboyNo Gravatar Says:

I dated a stripper when I was in my 20′s. She was a really nice girl, but she did have a lot to deal with, abuse from her step father, wrong crowd, etc.

I went overseas with my company, and we fell out of contact.

Like I said, she was a very sweet person with a heart of gold. Sometimes I wonder where she is, what she’s doing, and how she’s doing.

  15.   vixen kittenNo Gravatar Says:

jr: As I clearly stated “I’m not judging the ones who choose a different road, I just don’t have the desire to intertwine my life with theirs.”

I find no entertainment value in it. My friends, both male and female, find no entertainment value in it. If you do, that is your choice. Please remember though that the question was would YOU date a stripper. I answered based on MY opinion, not yours. I can only assume you did the same.

    Have a great day. ~vk~

  16.   vixen kittenNo Gravatar Says:

jr: “it’s because we were looking for someone like you, so that our wives would immediately shuck their clothes off and be so entranced by your powers that they would dance for you. If, and only if, you were interested.”

For the record, I have no powers. I do have a mighty persuasive smile. *snort* I’m also not interested in toying with married women. I’m not sure what that does to your sarcastic scenario.

    xoxo

  17.   ScottNo Gravatar Says:

In the distant past I dated a couple of strippers, and there were a few more I would like to have dated if my charm offensive had been more successful. Never fell in love with one, though, and that, of course, could have been a game-changer.

Had that happened when I was younger, jealousy and insecurity would have gotten the best of me, I fear. Of course, back then, the concept of hotwifing, swinging, etc., would also have been mortifying to me.

Now that I’ve matured (I think) and gotten older (for certain), and those formerly alien concepts are now a turn-on, I think I’d be okay with it. Probably be aroused by the details of the job on occasion.

As in the case of any of the more free-wheeling lifestyles, honesty in the relationship would be key. If my stripper girlfriend told me about some asshole that had treated her with arrogance and a sense of entitlement, I’d wanna kill him. But if she told me about some guy she found hot while she was riding his erection during a lapdance, I’d have her clothes on the floor in a heartbeat.

Transparency in blouses and desires is a good thing!

  18.   nitebyrdNo Gravatar Says:

My niece dated a stripper. She’s the only one I ever knew. Based on her personality, no, I couldn’t date a stripper. However, if she wasn’t a psycho, then I probably could.

  19.   AlbertNo Gravatar Says:

Umm, I the possibility has crossed my mind before…sure makes for a great story:)

  20.   vixen kittenNo Gravatar Says:

jr: I appreciate you stopping by, and I hope you will do so again. One of the things I love about blogging is the way it makes your world a bigger place. I enjoy the different opinions and the way different people live their lives.

One of my favorite things about Vixen’s blog is CQW. She gets people thinking…and talking, and that is never a bad thing. I don’t believe anyone answers these questions to change another’s opinion, only to share a bit of their own. I do believe though that in that sharing we each walk away with something new to think about.

I aploogize if my answer answer some how made you feel as though I was calling you skeevy. Hearing stories from my sister and other former dancers hasn’t changed my opinion that skeevy men go there, but I also realize from your view that normal every day men and women go as well.

Thank you again for stopping by little bit of blogland, your comments and opinions are welcome anytime.

Maybe a group hug is in order?

  22.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

Scott- great take on the entire scenario! I think maturity could play a pretty significant role.

Nitbyrd- not being psycho would definitely be a plus. LOL

  23.   VixenNo Gravatar Says:

Um, well….it seems jr and VK have worked out their issues so not much I really need to add.

But. I think strip clubs can differ. I’ve only been to very upper class, posh, nice ones. I’ve had nothing but good experiences and fun times at them. I’m sure there are skeevy men out there, not just at strip clubs but at clubs, bars, hell, anywhere.

I don’t think it’s fair to assume the sole reason people go to strip clubs are bc they can’t get attention/laid somewhere else. Most of the men/women I know who have gone/go, do so and go home to have *FABULOUS* enhanced sex at home. Whether they went with their S/O or not. Many couples use it as foreplay, or just for a good time. IDK…there are numerous reasons why people go.

But everyone’s opinions are their own. No one is going to make VK go into one, she doesn’t want to/has no desire to. Just as no one is going to tell jr and I that we can’t. I just think as long as we don’t judge others on what they choose to do, all is swell. :)

  24.   vixen kittenNo Gravatar Says:

Let’s start with a hug. I don’t know you well enough yet to give you one of my private lap dances.

I do hear they are pretty wonderful though! *wink*

And Vixen, you know I’m all about things being swell. For the record, should you decide to ever take up the profession, I would risk the skeevy men and watch….or if you just want to practice in private…well, I’d be all that too. *hugs*

  25.   KennyNo Gravatar Says:

Dated one…a hot one..Brooke..Stripper and Lingerie model…she cheated on me..used me..pretty much did nothing to alleviate the stripper stereotype. However, in the beginning she pursued me and I was in a long distance relationship, but she was relentless. What can I say I gave in…but man she was fucking smokin’..

  26.   TUGNo Gravatar Says:

Without having read the entire post or other responses I will simply answer the title. YES, because I have :)

Big D was actually married to a stripper at one point. Not so much.
    Love you!
