Randomness
* In the fall Bloglines (the feed reader I have used for over 6 years…and loved) announced that on November 1 they would be shutting down. I was beyond upset. I began researching other readers that I could migrate to. All the while feeling quite pissy about this forced change. Bc I don’t like change *stomps foot* In the meantime I exported all my feeds to Google. Not loving it like I did Bloglines but deciding it would be work. I guess. (humpf) Then, a wonderful thing happened. MerchantCircle came to the rescue and said they would keep Bloglines up and running, permanently. Yeeeeesss!
Until last week when I logged in and was told I need to must migrate my feeds to the ‘new’ Bloglines. Wait. What?! What’s with this ‘new’ crap??? Okay…. So I follow the steps. And am introduced to the ‘new Bloglines’. Oh. OH. fuck. me. It’s NOTHING like what I’m used to. It’s extremely difficult to navigate. AND it couldn’t migrate over half my feeds unless I was willing to spend an eternity hours manually doing it. WTF?!?! Grrr… So. Needless to say, after fucking around with it for several days and trying to learn to like it I have abandoned Bloglines for good. I’m now using Google Reader, which in retrospect is surprisingly similar to the OLD Bloglines.

* I’ve gotten some really good runs in recently. Our weather has been incredibly mild this winter. Which I won’t lie, I am loving. A little bit of snow would be nice to see but as long as the mountains continue to see tons of it, we’ll reap the benefits come spring from the run off and that’s just fine by me. The beginning of last week I ran two days in Capri cut Yoga pants and Racer-Back tanks and the last part of the week bundled in fleece, and gloves. Over 30 degree change in temps but still incredibly pleasant. As much as I love the summer, I have a difficult time exerting myself like I would like in the heat. The feel of the cold air in my lungs, and brisk wind on my cheeks is most definitely what I live for. *happy sigh*
* Remember last weekend when I was putting on the sparkle for PC’s friends? Well. He was kept busy doing what sissy’s girlfriends do best….
Holding their mistress’s girlfriends purse and drinking fro fro girly drinks, of course!
Don’t worry your pretty little heads. I’ve been putting on the sparkle for him too. *wink*

T-minus 5 days until *THE BIG DAY*. All but one item is purchased. Wrapping will begin this week. I’m not sure what scheduling will be like this week. The “Three Wishes” theme for HNT is Thurs and the other days I think I’ll play by ear. Yes, ME, Mrs. OCD is going to play things by ear *gasp*!!!

I had the same problems with Blogrolling. I can’t believe that these companies don’t at least come up with a viable solution when they go tits up. And it’s worse when a solution is going the route of social networking sites. I don’t want all that crap. And when something works, don’t go changing it on me. I’m ready to dump FB, but then I’d be the last person on earth without it, and all of you would start talking about me.

exercise has been impossible since Thursday (my killer day) when I didn’t take the time to change my boots all day and developed the worst blister ever where my second toe meets my foot- ouch! and it won’t heal. hobble hobble.
I love a guy who will hold your bag, speaks volumes that act does.
btw – how are you going to get the bow to stay on yourself? (Santa promised me what I want this year_)
