Totally random other news….  Morning Star brought back their Veggie Corn Dogs!!!!  I have a serious ‘thing’ for corn dogs…it’s weird really.  (lol)  Hate Veggie Hot Dogs, they are utterly nasty *barf!* .  But Veggie Corn Dogs ….mmm…..  serious, weird obsession with them.  PC stocked up on them for me the other day.  *huge grins*

After some seriously funked up weather, we finally FINALLY!!!  had an incredibly nice day.  The dogs and I spent a good portion of the day Thursday outside soaking up the sunshine and reading.  Ok, they slept and I read.  But still…  *happiness*

Is chivalry dead?  How about some common fucking courtesy?? OR just human decency???  Like when you have an issue and are pulled over on the side of the road and not a single person pulls over to help you out, much less asks if you are ok and might possibly need help?!?!?! (((BFD)))

Tivo.  Fucking love it.  When. It. Works.  Three of my favorite (most favoritest!!!) shows were cut short half way through bc of ‘satellite connection issues’.  Seriously?  SERIOUSLY!?!?!?  Sigh….going to be watching two of them online in the near future I guess. (grumble, grumble)

Should he have to share that with you? What would you do if you found out he did?

I guess, IMO, I would hope the person I’m having sex with feels comfortable and confident enough in me…in us…that he felt he could be honest with me.  That this would be something we could discuss, he would want to share with me.  But it wouldn’t be like a deal breaker if I discovered they were and I didn’t know about it.  There are far more important things in a relationship that I think DO need to be discussed…shared.  Birth control?  YES.  STDs?  YES.  Other people they might be sleeping with?  YES.  I mean…it’s not like I tell a guy I’m seeing right out of the gate that…oh yeah, I take hormones so that I’m not a pyschotic, crazy head case of a bitch bc of the EBA I had last spring. Um…  *ahem*  Yeah.  *LOL* 

I guess for me it would go back to the fact that I would hope they’d want to share that with me.  Especially if we are referring to each other as our ‘significant other’.  That to me means a serious relationship and yeah, I would expect to have that kind of information shared with me.  As well as by that point in the relationship, I would have made it known about my procedure(s) and medications I was taking, etc.  I just feel you become open by that point in a relationship.  About everything.  (and granted…I am a plethora of honesty when it comes to people I’m close to…um  (((them))) -haha)

Am I so far off?  Seems keeping secrets from your S/O can leave them feeling betrayed if the truth is discovered.  It would make me wonder why they felt the need to keep a secret from me. Which…actually I guess might hurt my feelings.  BUT…people have the right to some privacy in their lives, no?

Just where should couples draw the line between total self-disclosure and a bit of personal privacy???

Brain dump…

* I haven’t shared much of myself lately.  I guess for numerous reasons.  Complications in my life, shit going on, not wanting to really talk about it, paired with just also felt as if I had nothing to say about any of it.  Sometimes I feel the need to vent and get it all off my chest…and other times I internalize.  The noise is so fucking loud in my head but when I open my mouth…nothing comes out.  Ever have that feeling?

* LP got vibrant pink highlights in her hair this last week.  It probably doesn’t come as too much of a shock to learn that her favorite color is pink too… ~smirk~   It’s the second time she’s gotten this done.  Her hairlady and I were discussing that if this was the worst she wants to do to herself (ie piercings, etc) then hell yeah I’m going to support it.  (course….she does have a severe allergy to metal…so the idea of her ever running out to have her navel pierced are pretty much none…bwahaha….)

* Baby girl Emma….the pup that broke her leg, requiring immediate and serious decisions to be made regarding her future, then orthopedic surgery, followed by 8 weeks of recovery….  She disappeared Tuesday afternoon.  All efforts to find her have been futile.  Hours spent driving and calling, signs, ads placed, reports with humane societies made……  Everyone is absolutely, completely heartbroken.  Her big sister, Kiya, especially…she’s refusing to eat and remains incredibly depressed.  *sigh*

* Kiddos have 4 weeks left of school before summer break.  Eeek!  Guess it’s about time to purchase our pool passes and pull out the sunscreen.  They were absolute fish last summer…especially LM who discovered the diving boards!  Entire days spent in the sun…them swimming…me reading…can. not. wait.

* PC has sorted some things out and is working from home again….  Rewind 9 months ago and he’s back to feeling a lot less stressed….grins….
(yay!!!)

* My allergies have so far been kept at bay this year (…knock on wood).  Bit of an issue with my lungs (residual effects from the god awful respiratory infection I had for two months last fall) and some other allergy related symptoms…but NOTHING like last year.  Ohthankfuckinggod!!!

* My Studmuffin friend is (hopefully) coming for another visit in a few weeks.  Um…yeah…super excited about that. (!!!)

In High School girls would get them from their boyfriends.  Because obviously a teenage boy isn’t going to buy his girlfriend an engagement ring…that would be….inappropriate (IMO).  But as an adult???  Isn’t that pretty much like a dog peeing on it’s territory, claiming something as theirs…but um, not wanting to keep it forever.  Kind of like… “I promise to love you and be with you….for now”.  *snort*
