A close friend of the male counterpart of a married couple came into town for a visit (the buddy and him have been friends longer than he’s known his wife). They went out to dinner and to a bar for drinks. The friend was a huge flirt through out dinner with the waitress and other patrons and most especially one girl in particular at the bar after dinner.
Oh. And this visiting out of town friend is married.
The wife of the married couple was very annoyed at the out of town friends behavior and has serious reservations about her husbands continued ‘friendship’ with this individual. She is uncomfortable with the situation. Should the husband have to end the friendship with his friend because his wife doesn’t agree with the friends behavior?
IMHO:
Uh…no ??? I can see not liking all your significant others friends… For whatever reason. But, you are not married to or dating your S/O’s friends. You are married/with your significant other. You either trust your them or you don’t. You can certainly voice your concerns and disdain for the friend’s behavior… But making it a huge issue and wanting them to end their friendship with them??? EWWW….nooooo. Control freak!
Maybe to try to accommodate her you don’t ask her to go out with you guys again. If his behavior bothers her…she doesn’t have to spend time with them. But asking him to end a friendship because you don’t like the choices they make? No. Uh uh….that gets way under my skin.

So….”Jane” normally goes on vacation with her boyfriend (long term…they live together) but he couldn’t go this time so she went away with three of her friends. One of the nights she got really drunk and ended up sleeping with a guy she met at a club. She really loves her boyfriend and feels an enormous amount of guilt. She hasn’t said anything to him but he can tell something is wrong. She’s really afraid that if she tells him he will leave her.
Should she come clean or try to move past her guilt and not tell him???
IMHO…
Ugh….Whenever this comes up I always have such mixed feelings. She feels an incredible amount of guilt. Is she telling him so she won’t feel as guilty??? Because that seems selfish. She’s going to devastate him just so she doesn’t have to carry the burden of the guilt of her indiscretion?
I’m a pretty huge fan of being honest. Of being up front…about my intentions, what I’m going to do, what I’ve done. I hate cheating. I by no means am proud of some moments in my past. But the fabulous thing about growing older is you can (hopefully!) learn from your mistakes. I think if this truly was a one time thing…and she truly does love him…that she shouldn’t tell him. Especially if she thinks it will destroy them.

I want to write…but I can’t. I’d love to free my brain from…’the shit’…but I can’t. So much has happened in the last few months and it’s laying very…very heavily on my mind. My little girl Emma breaking her leg, the decisions required surrounding that, her surgery and the weeks of recovering following…then the heartbreak of her disappearance, drama with ex’s and life…repeatedly… Friday afternoon coming home to find our pet goat, Chloe…of 6 years…that I bottled raised from 4weeks on… had been attacked by a stray neighbor dog. Despite being rushed to one of the best teaching hospital in the US, and her seeming to have been stabilized… she still passed away the next morning… I wish I could take away LP having to endure the trauma of finding Chloe. (why on earth did I let her go in search of Chloe when my first immediate gut feeling when I saw the dog was that Chloe wasn’t ok… *guilt* …)
My laptop decided to up and die mid day Thursday. It had been very well used and not super happy as of recent. PC had been stoked to get a new 17″ Macbook Pro for himself and handing down his (which is how I was given my other recently deceased one)… much to his dismay my Mac’s untimely death caused a change of plans. (and despite his joking…NO, I did not pour Coors Light over my laptop in an attempt to fry the motherboard…LOL!). But…BUT…being the computer fucking genius he is, he amazingly restored everything from my laptop to my new one. SWEET!!!! *YAY!!!*
Yeah… I have a lot going on. And fuck..no…I just can not seem to catch a break. Do I get points for breathing in and out? *sigh*
So because of the laptop issues Friday Favorites weren’t published but there were some really, really good ones so I definitely wanted to put them out and give them a shout out. If you missed them last week, hit them up!

My Mac decided to die on me Thursday afternoon. (RIP dear beloved laptop) Hence the absence of Friday Favorites. But not to worry your pretty little heads, I will still post them because there were some great ones this past week! Look forward to them come Monday I think….
In the meantime PC rocked my world by recovering everything on my old laptop and getting me up and running on a new one. *YAY!!!* In the meantime..something to keep you entertained….

Having not seen each other in 5weeks….we weren’t in the hotel room more than a few minutes before we were kissing and he’d picked me up to lay me onto the bed.. Barely pulling our lips and bodies apart to remove our clothing to be tossed aside. The majority of the long weekend was spent in bed naked, getting dressed long enough to go out to eat and grab a few drinks in the afternoons/evenings.
(The Studmuffin of a boyfriend took these pics on our first day. I love how they turned out….most especially because they are completely unedited and raw… *happy sigh*)
