So, the Bon Jovi concert.  I had assured my sister I could still have fun with us going out and me not drinking.  Very rarely am I the designated driver….. actually, can’t remember the last time I was.  Um…it’s been THAT long (doh!).  We always drag PC along and it’s his job that he quite willingly does.  I have to admit, it’s sometimes probably for the best to have him along to keep us….not so much in check, but ‘safe’.  KWIM?  I’ve mentioned my sometimes lack of common sense when I drink (remember my ‘drunk girl, sometimes stupid’ post????).  Anyway.  I think she did worry at one point that while I had assured her I could have fun not drinking, when I turned down the round of Patron shots (I know…ME turn down Patron?!  *shaking head*) she wondered if SHE could have fun w/ me not drinking.  It all worked out though.

We did have a good time at the concert that we have affectionately dubbed- Cheesefest 2010.  I honestly do NOT remember him being as cheesy/corny as he was.  The spirit fingers, jazz hands, booty shaking, jumping jack-type-dance….was a bit much. *snort* Not to the mention the 50something crowd everfreakinwhere that were seriously *SWOONING* over him and his ridiculousness.  I only had beer spilt on me several times by the woman who danced and screamed the. entire. time.  I’m pretty sure she was his biggest fan.  That lucky Bon Jovi….  ~wink~

Eventually we left bc we were over him to beat traffic. I suggested we hit the dive bar near her house.  I have to say the FUNNIEST/HIGHLIGHT of the night was my VERY straight sister being kissed by a way overly drunk girl trying to bum a cigarette.  When I informed Drunk Girl that I didn’t smoke and therefore did not have a cigarette she could bribe off of me, she became all eyes for my sister.  The look on my sisters face and watching Drunk Girl try to redeem sexual favors for a stupid cigarette were….comical, to say the least.

And apparently neither of us were the brightest of bulbs that night…..   The cute bartender we were schmoozing with kept asking what our plans were after the bar closed (we were there until closing).  We both realized (after the fact!!!) that he’d actually been hoping we’d invite him to go someplace else with us after wards.  Oh.  Oh!  Uh.  Duh!  (maybe it was my lack of alcohol combined with the amount she’d had???  ….IDK…….) But again.  DUH!

I requested my Web Bitch to do some work on my site.  Wanted to point out several new (ok one is new, one is fixed) features.  People have brought it to my attention *coughSagecough* that there is no way to follow comments on posts of interest.  The other being that you used to be able to click on my header and it brought you ‘home’….but after  PC re-vamped my header last fall (the one the totally awesome Roxy made for my last birthday *GRINS*) it quit working.  I kissed up asked nicely and PC made the changes for me.  I should mention, my site is not easy to work on. So let it be known the man seriously ROCKS, definitely a keeper.

It’s come to my attention recently that I probably should give some more….information regarding PC and what he is gaining from my….extramarital affairs.  Quite a few of you are having a difficult time wrapping your head around what PC is getting out of it all.  Bc despite what he keeps saying about making my happiness #1, some have an even more difficult time wrapping their heads around THAT (remember though, we are firm believers that relationships are not quid pro quo). There has been expressed confusion, concern, curiosity, whatever about it and how he can be ‘OK’ with it.  I realize sometimes I’m very…..elusive, evasive about many some of the details I share.  It’s just how I am and what I am comfortable with.  PC is much more blatant about what he would share (which is evident in the few posts he’s written….that I’ve had to edit for my level of ‘okayness’, lol).  But that said, I think it is time to give a bit more insight so as not to come off as a selfish bitch in my marriage.  That post is coming.  It’s taking some processing and thinking on my part.

I also wanted to mention though, that while I’ve only just begun talking more openly about it here, as well as realizing I do find myself attracted to certain men…..  Our marriage has been open to me seeing/dating females since…well, the beginning.  So while certain aspects of ‘this’ are new-ish, the general concept isn’t.

My sister and I are headed to see Bon Jovi in concert.  Squeeeee!!!!  I saw him quite a few years back (um…like 19 years ago *ahem*).  My friends and I, at that stage in my life, were very into hair bands/rock n roll, etc.  We were heavy concert go-ers. I can’t say I remember many of them, bc those were also my heavy drug and alcohol days (ok so I’ve remained a lush, but I bid farwell to the drugs with my twenties…).  I was reminicising with Yummy about how my friends and I used to sneak alcohol in to the concerts in hairspray bottles.  Gag, I know.  But you know fill it with Jack Daniels and all you have to do is buy yourself a Diet Coke and you are set!  These days I’m thinking my sister and I will suck it up and pay the $10 for a beer.  ~wink~

I’ve outgrown many of the hair bands and wince when I hear certain bands/songs.  But there are the ‘memory songs’ and Bon Jovi (Def Lepard very close behind…I mean who doesn’t love a song with lyrics like- Pour some sugar on me?!) has the most of them.  I still remember and love many of his songs.  We are stoked to spend some adult time together and will be rockin it, you can bet on it.

Oh.  And I wore my new corset from Eden Fantasy’s.  Something to look forward to….you know, being the picture whore I am and everything…..
