I know I owe a recap of Vegas.  I am slacking (although both BD and I have been leaking out information…slowly…. *grins*).  I’ve been in a bit of a funk this week…combined with really still processing and coming down from *such*  an fabulous time.  And well, really I’m still relishing in our time together. It was that amazing.  And in turn feeling a bit selfish with the lo-down.

The ball got super insanely crowded, overwhelmingly so.  They only had one teeny tiny bathroom (I’m assuming bc I never was able to make it inside it bc the line to get into it had over a 45min wait to use it) and three Port-A-Potty’s in the alley.  Um…right.  Anyone wanna guess how difficult it is to fit in one of those with wings on, much less readjust your ‘business’ (panties, garters, tutu…) in one of those fucking things?!  Poor, poor planning.  NOT my favorite venue.

Nice.  Hands on ass cheeks.  I told you I wasn’t that boring, typical, innocent angel!

These guys were HILARIOUS.  Three of them- strutting around in tight leotards and stilettos.

Very little sleep, I think my head hit the pillow at 4am-ish?  Much beer, only one shot (of Crown- puke).  Excellent time with friends.  Met some awesome new people (one in fact you may be hearing a lot more about in the upcoming weeks…grinning….).  Did I mention there was a kissing booth too?  Oh.  MmmHmm….  *smirk*

*Thank Goodness* was functioning Sunday so I could finish packing for Vegas and take the kiddos Trick-or-Treating.  Yay me!

Randomness…

I came down with an awful stomach bug late Thursday night that took me out most of Friday.  Blech.  Nothing squelches a kid free weekend like a stomach bug.  But after sleeping almost ten hours I woke up Saturday morning feeling refreshed and up for some fun.  So PC and I had a date night.  I had a sexy slip dress I’d been dying to have an occasion to wear out. We saw a movie (so so good but tissues are a must!) and then dinner at one of my most favoritest restaurants.  Several glasses of wine for me.  A beer for him (doesn’t take much to cause him to catch a buzz….such a sissy lightweight *smirk*). 

A fabulous night that ended in some hot fun.  *wicked grins*

Got the kiddos back Sunday and spent the afternoon at my sisters house.  Both our costumes are complete now so we spent the time comparing notes on final plans for the ‘big day’ (yes that would be Halloween for any newbies out there) and gabbing.  She also makes the most kick ass Bloody Mary’s.  One of my most favorite ways to spend Sundays is with her.  *happy sigh*

So.  Here we are at Monday.  Let the fun begin

Adventures in dating….
I’ve decided I really should write a book on my recent dating experiences.  (Which until my mid thirties were actually fairly uneventful, haha)  The people I have encountered, the experiences….  Wow.  Just like…WOW.  Just got to shake my head a lot of the times.  *snort*

This week I was contacted by a fairly good looking guy in his early 30′s.  For whatever reason he decided what I really needed was a dominant male to tell me what to do, for me to be his ‘good slut’.  Um.  Yeah, that’s not how this Vixen plays.  Liking a male who can be a bit dominant (Ashton was dreamy in this department) is nice.  I like and am very domme with PC.  Which is exactly how I like our relationship to be *smirk*, it thrives on that dynamic.  So to be with someone else who likes to take a bit of the control…kind of fun.  To be bossed around and demanded of shit….oh hell no.  Completely wrong tactic with me, it has an adverse effect actually. I even explained this to him, trying to get him to back off a ton bit.  But it became apparent this wasn’t going to work.  See ya…

And Abercrombie completely blew it with me.  It was a tad bit weird annoying to not hear from him for 4 days, even when I tried to contact him.  Which ok, whatever.  But then when he did and I was past the point of irritated and responded a bit snarky to him.  He took this…attitude.  Turning it around on me.  Acting like I was being a clingy (which OMG I am the last thing from), head case just because I hadn’t heard from.  Then says “Oh yeah…I think I remember a text from you but forgot to respond.  My bad”.  Yes.  Yes my dear now scorned friend, YOUR BAD which equates to YOUR LOSS.  *humpf*  Needless to say he’s gotten the cold shoulder since.

Kiddos had most of the week off of school for parent/teacher conferences.  Leaving things quite busy and hectic on my end.  Luckily at least the weather has been decent so that a good amount of time could be spend outside.  Although I did find myself cursing the sun going down at 6:30 when I would have loved for the children to have spent another several hours OUT rather than cooped up IN.

I’ve become a SAHsurrogateM to five puppies who are now 5 weeks old and E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E.  SO high maintenance.  SO much work.  Although not complaining, I adore every minute of it.  Ok…maybe less so the moments at 3am….  (yawn..lol)  But they grow up/develop so fast.  As much work as they are, I will surely miss them when they go off to their new homes.

The kiddos are spending a few days with their Grandma for some fun.  Which means an entire adult- fun filled weekend for PC and I to ourselves.   Oh the trouble me might find ourselves in….  *wicked grins*

Halloween is hands down THE. BEST. holiday.  So much anticipation and planning goes into this event.  And so it should be unsurprising to everyone that I love reviewing costumes this time of year. I had the pleasure of trying out this little number.

This costume included:

• Stretch zipper front short sleeved top
• Ruffled mini skirt
• Vinyl waist corset
• Hat
• Badge
• Crop
• Anita Friskya badge.

Here’s what I loved about it-
It’s smoking hot sexy on, includes fabulous accessories making it very worth it’s price, and very versatile.  It can be worn with or with out the vinyl corset.  And when paired with fishnets and boots….omg HOT HOT HOT.

There were very few things I *disliked* about this costume.  Really actually only one.  It ran small.  Which, is not something that happens very often to me.  More often than not most things are large on me.  The skirt is stretchy/lyrcra material and could accomodate many different body types.  It fit fine.  But my issue was with the top.  I tried a small and it was too small in the bust….  Apparently a 34C chest is too big for it.  It was unnoticeable with the corset on because it covered the ‘mis-fit top’.  It could have definitely have been worn out to a fabulous exotic event, but wasn’t as versatile as I might have liked.

I wish I had had this last week but I didn’t so I’ll talk about it today instead. 

Malorie and James were going to attend the HUGE, fantastic, sexy, totally awesome Exotic Ball I was telling you about last week.  The one we had to miss bc for some completely assinine reason they held it on a Friday and only Saturday worked for us to go out.  It seriously is THE. BEST. Halloween party in the entire state.  It is NOT to be missed if you can help it.

 
ANYWAY (lol).  Malorie was going to be a naughty nurse and James a Doctor.  (Aw….cute couple themed costume…grins….)  Two days before the party James found out he has to be out of town for work.  And now doesn’t want Malorie to go to the Exotic Ball.  Which she said was absolutely NOT an option.  So he then tried to compromise with her and said that if she insisted on going, he wanted her to wear a different costume.  A less sexy.  Less revealing costume. 

Do you think James is being fair or has any right to ask this of her (to not go or if she is, to wear a different costume)????

This is behavior I lived with for years with my exH.  The only way I was allowed to look ‘sexy’ was if he was with me.  And often times still I was accused of dressing ‘too sexy’ when someone would even glance at me, much less talk to me (even with him with me).  *rolling eyes*  But let’s not dwell on that.  James, IMO, is being VERY insecure.  He is telling her, that basically he doesn’t trust her unless he’s right next to her.  That it’s ok to look sexy as long as he gets to reap all the benefits.  But she’s not trusted by herself.  (BTW, she mentioned nothing has ever happened to make him *not* trust her)

I just think this is ridiculous.  HE is being ridiculous.  He needs to put aside his insecurities, get over himself that he can’t make it (while I’m sure he’s very disappointed he can’t go, why should she be punished for it?!), trust her and wish her a good time.  THAT is the mature thing to do here.

ETA: They were planning on going with a large group of friends.  She would not be attending this party alone.

No Mute Monday today.  I have pictures to share from our night out on Halloween instead.  Any objections???  I didn’t think so.  ~wink~

First off, *thankfully* our weather turned VERY mild just in time for the weekend.  LM was a fabulous Vampire.  I was impressed with my make up abilities, as ‘scary’ is not what I usually am going for when *I* am applying make- up.  (LOL)  LP had plans to be a “Vampire Princess” but what she really ended up pulling off was more a “Zombie Princess”.  So we went with that.  After some trick-or-treating my sister, PC and I headed down town.  My sister’s husband was awesome enough to keep all five kiddos for the night.

After only two hours of getting ready *ahem* we were on our way out the door to stir up trouble!

In case it’s not completely self explanitory.  I was a 50′s Pin Up Model and my sister a Burlesque Dancer.  Her costume was totally fabulous.

We were  a bit disappointed in the lack of REALLY GREAT costumes.  In years past we have seen SO SO many.  Some of the funny ones were the UPS guy wearing short shorts that were waaaaaay too tight.  *snort*  Then the Power Rangers.  Twenty-something year old men wearing child sized Power Ranger costumes.  Freakin’ HILAROUS.  Then there was Pumpkin head dude.

And who knew you could get lap dances by Angels at Coyote Ugly!  Ha!  Actually….these girls came together and were quite oblivous to anyone else in place.  (HOT….just sayin’…)

Oh.  And Madonna was there!  Or as we liked to joke “Trailer Trash Cindy Brady”.  Doh.
