Because it entertains me every week, I thought I would share once again the awesomeness that turned up in my AFF inbox.  I could actually make this a new feature.  Haha…

Well.  Hmm….  While I guess I kind of ok, not really at all appreciate him trying to address the whole cuckhold issue (…ish, bc honestly that direct propositioning turns me off), I’m pretty sure I never (EVER!) mentioned wanting to be hit up for a threesome.  But- OMG he can host!!!  [said in a super high pitched, valley girl-like voice while jumping up and down]  *rolling eyes*

I did get a hit from a woman….married, looking for similar things as I am.  Now if only she were  anywhere remotely near my age (again, I simply can not find myself attracted to someone near my mother’s age).

On with the randomness I  seem to be full of come Friday…..

LM stayed home sick for the two days this week with Croup.  Poor kiddo.  And come late afternoon the second day he was home….poor Mommy.  Doh.  (seriously!)  Luckily by day 3 he was ready to go back to school and has been all sorts of energy since then.

Our weather has been phenomenal.  I can’t remember the last fall we had that was this mild and amazing.  I am *LOVING* it.  When the weather finally does change it will be a huge disappointment.  You might find me huddled in a corner rocking back and forth.  I *heart* Indian Summers.

School pictures are Friday.  I helped the kiddos pick out outfits.  LP was simple….she’s as girly as I am and has a fabulous wardrobe.  LM on the other hand….I suggested what I thought he should wear.  And he announces- I’ve been waiting for this moment all year long to wear my Tux!  *sigh*  Yeah…..my son is Alex P. Keaten.  He wears vests, bowties and tuxedos…..on a regular, every day basis.

Oh.  And have I mentioned he’s going to be Freddy Kruegar for Halloween?  Oh yeah….  Haha.  Seriously, he is so freakin’ cool.

Kiddos school carnival is Friday night.  It’s always pretty….interesting at these school functions.  I get along incredibly well with the teachers and staff and about so-so with the other parents (albeit a handful).  Fun fun fun!

It’s that time of year again!!!  Today is the launch of the 9th Annual Boobie-Thon! It starts up this today, and runs for seven days. For those who have never experienced it, it’s a fundraiser to raise money for breast cancer research. People from all over the globe send in photos of their boobies (covered and uncovered!!!) to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research. They have raised over $64,000 in the past 8 years.  Which is like, amazing!!!  I’ve been participating for the last 4 years.  It’s an incredible cause, I encourage you to help out in whatever way you can.  Click the button or the above link to find out how.

Of all the things I’d hope my child(ren) would inherit, insomnia was not one of them.  Poor LM’s bedroom is catty corner our bedroom.  I’m a night owl…reading, lamps on, many times tv as well…into the wee hours.  Sometimes falling asleep (very) late at night with the TV on.  Recently he can’t sleep through the distractions.  Poor little guy.  My heart goes out to him.

On the Banana Rum.  Amazed at how many people either hadn’t heard of it or flat out despised it. Really?!  I’m a HUGE fan of the stuff.  Rum in general, not so much. I’m that lush person that has over-indulged in quite a few liquors over the years to the point that the thought of most of them make me want to puke.  Rum is one of them.  Used to live on the stuff.  Do you have any idea how many different flavors of rum there are?!  Malibu, Vanilla, Spiced, Coconut, Banana….  My favorite of them all that I can still occasionally enjoy- Banana.  If I were to choose a simple pool side drink to be brought by a hot waitress, it would be Banana Rum with Diet Coke.  Mmmm….  It’s pretty much what I lived off of while in Jamaica (bc their already warm-ish beer, drank while sitting in the heat is *pukey*, take my word for it), both times.  YUM.

Thursday was LM’s birthday.  He turned seven.  SEVEN.  Which is like….crazy to me that my youngest is now seven years old….  I jumped through hoops for this kid… medical, life changing ones.  Two devastating miscarriages, three plus months of bedrest, emergency induction at 34weeks, beyond high maintenance- cried unless he was held all. the.time, ruined marriage….  Funny (not in a haha way, but in an ironic one) that the one thing that made my life complete and finally drew me out of the deep depression I had fallen in for over a year… that ultimately ruined my marriage was this child.  BUT I wouldn’t change a moment or choice I made.  It all happened for a reason.  And this reason is him.

Crickets chirping.  Lilacs blooming.  Warm summer nights.  I’m in heaven.  I live for this time of year.  And summer is officially here, I say, despite the crazy ass weather.  Pool is open, Elitches as well, passes to both bought….road trip in just over a week.  Another less than two weeks later.  Summer break has only just began and I feel as if we’ve planned it away.  But with the way the kiddos have been at each others throats this last week, that may not be a bad thing.  A busy, entertained child is one less likely to be driving me to drink.  Oh, shut up, like I need an excuse to drink.  ~wink~

It’s Friday people.  Party like rockstars!

I gotta say it was super fun making the rounds this week.  Re-visiting everyone’s very first HNT’s and how they recreated them.  And probably what I loved the most, was the ‘old timers’ who don’t really participate anymore, that came back to make an appearance. It was good to see some of them again.  It was like a walk down memory lane.  *happy sigh* We’ve all come such a long way!

So.  Fuck this week.  Seriously.  Drama (hate it!!!). Beating my body to hell.  An entire bottle of my most favoritest, imported tequila shattered everyfuckingwhere (((Donnie))).  LM waking me up in the middle of the night puking everywhere and….later puking at the dinner table.  During dinner.  In the same night he barely escapes a concussion (I’m not even going to *tell* you how…).  Misunderstanding between bestest friends.  All is cool, everything is fine. Thank god for unconventional  (*LOL*) But still.  (I *heart* them *sigh*)

And.
In a matter of a weeks time I have scraped up my knees, back and shoulder (Roxy’s Spa- Friday night), cut the bottom of my left foot on a piece of random glass (Roxy’s house- Saturday night), skin/bruise the fuck out of the entire length of my left shin (click to see- warning: nasty looking) and twist my right ankle (while fending off dogs running- Monday night).  As Lolita and Roxy have pointed out- only this shit happens to me and what IS it with me and my legs/feet!??!?!  *sigh* (ouch)

Going downtown Friday night (with Yummy….~wicked grin~).  Haven’t been down there in a bit, should be a super fun time.  Debated hard whether I could pull off a sexy slip dress and heels with my legs looking as fucked up as they do.  In the end I decided I looked too much like a beaten up crack whore (gah!).  I’m not sure any amount of self confidence could pull off legs that look as awful as mine do right now.  Maybe enough alcohol…..lol.  Still.  No dress (damn).

As of noon Friday the kiddos are on summer break.  WOO HOO!!!!  No more having to get up at 6am.  No more lunches to be made in a half-dazed caffeine jonsing state.  No more trying to get kiddos in bed at 8pm while it’s still light out (doh!).  And from what I can tell *crossing fingers not wanting to jinx it* we might actually be having some summer weather finally.  Fun concept you know…..HEAT in the SUMMER.  Our pool opens Memorial Day wkend.  *happy sigh*

Bad Bad Girl….. I’m becoming envious of her lingerie collection bc it rocks.  And if I may say so, she looks hot…….  Hey, there are like at least 4 different angles, I guarantee you want to check them all out.

Sweet Elle….. Yeah, she’s new to HNT and you’d think she took classes or something on it, bc she’s rockin’ it in a serious way.

Well.  I’m still laid up.  The good news is as long as my foot is bandaged (with hot pink VetWrap decorated with purple hearts thankyouverymuch) I am walking a bit better.  That’s a bonus.  I don’t see any triathlons in my near future (especially considering I am still hobbling up and down the hill to/from the barn, this is probably my biggest daily challenges) but it’s slowly getting better…..

I had a minor tissy fit this past week about how HARD 1st grade is and the totally unrealistic expectations LM’s teacher is putting on him/the class.  There seems to have been a major disconnect bwtn the Kindergarten teacher and the 1st grade teacher(s).  It seems to me when a child and his parent are spending almost two hours a night ‘studying’ (in tears no less…his, not mine) that there is a slight problem with the curriculum.  Just sayin….  I did manage to reign in my mama bear instincts (and get PC to reel in his papa bear ones after I got *him* worked up over my concerns) and have decided to take a ‘wait and see’ approach until this week is over.  I think it’s in everyone’s best interest if I don’t jump to conclusions and come flying in being ‘that mom’ with out seeing the full picture first.  Bc I mean, I’m NOT ‘that mom’, I’ve never been.  But at the same time, fuck if I’m going to stand by and watch our son become so frustrated he wants to give up.  Anyway….  I’ll keep you posted.  Next week could become quite interesting.

On another note entirely.  You must *KNOW* how much I love Megan Fox. (right?!?!?!) Have you seen the previews for Jennifer’s Body? 
“She’s evil….and not just high school evil”.  (*snort*) 

Um.  Really?  So part of me is quite incredulous that she would choose a role like this for herself (???).  And another part thinks for her to have, means it *must* be better than it seems bc it looks really stupid.  But as PC pointed out, of course, I’ll want to see it.  Bc it’s HER.  (lol)

My husband spoiled me rotten this weekend.  My favorite Starbucks coffee two mornings in a row.  A new, pretty, flirty, little Victoria’s Secret nightie.  Dinner at my favorite restaurants.  Daytime naughtiness multiple times a day.   ….and for no other reason than I think I married the bestest man ever.  *happy sigh* 

The theme of this weekend was ‘The hunt for the perfect bike for LM’.  I was prepared to write out this funny, totally frustrating, detailed story of our quest.  But PC actually wrote a post (HERE) that is way better than anything I could have written.  It’s quite funny, I promise, so don’t forget to CLICK that link!

Anyone else watching True Blood this season?  It’s been waaaaaaaaay better than last season and last season fucking ROCKED.  Vampires are hot.  *swoon*  Just sayin’….

Had a fucking *AWESOME* weekend.  The weather was finally nice and held out the. entire. weekend. We totally lucked out.  Sunny, warm, comfortable….  Sun. Sun. Sun.  Yay!  

Saturday we headed down South to the Renaissance Festival. 

It’s something we do every summer but with such a whirlwind of a schedule it was almost on it’s way out.  It’s a long ass drive up there but we always have such a good time.  Good people watching.  ~grins~ 

This time was even more fun bc we ran into TUG and his family.  They moved here earlier in the summer and we’d hoped to meet up at the Festival but weren’t sure it would work out.  Fortunately it did.  His wife is a knock-out and TUG’s not so bad himself ~wink~  Their kiddos were beyond adorable.  His son and LM hit it right off.  It was quite cute.

Sunday was PC’s and mine anniversary and it was the best ever. He completely spoiled/pampered me……  Waking me up with kisses, roses and the sweetest card ever.  Then Starbucks in bed.  Amazingly hot and steamy daytime ‘fun’ ~wink wink~.  New pretty toes at our favorite nail place (I got polka dots!).  And then he surprised me with dinner at Benihana’s.  YUM.  He makes my heart go pitter patter.  The day was most definitely *SIGH* worthy.

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, holiday for those of us in the states and the wkend-wkend for everyone else.  It was a whirlwind (as seems to be this ‘norm’ for us this summer) weekend.  Friday wasn’t really a pool day, so we took the kiddos to see Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs on Friday.  Recently in the afternoons we’ve experienced T-storms resulting in *torrential downpour* and hail, then bc of the enormous amount of rain in a short period- flash flooding. Oh joy.  The positive is that they are fairly regular in the time they come by every afternoon and are quick to pass, leaving you with sun and mild evenings.  Can’t argue too too  much with that.  At least the threat of forest fires at this point is very minimal.  See?  Silver lining ~wink~

We spent the Fourth with my sisters family.  The six kiddos played awesome together.  Bonus!  The adults enjoyed some Brazillian cocktail made with Brazillian Tequila Rum that knocked me on my ass were quite yummy.  *cough cough*  No really, the very bottom after PC had drank my drink for me where the lime juice and sugar was, was QUITE yummy.  *snort*  It’s always a good time when we get our families together.  Then bc the kiddos hadn’t had enough of each other (lol), five of them spent Sunday together as well for a slumber party.  Which worked out bc it had been too wet to have much fun the night before with the sparklers and shit we had bought for them so we entertained them with those.

LM begins a Jumpstart program that runs through July.  Just when the kiddos and I were beginning to enjoy our laizze faire summer mornings…..  It’s totally worth it bc it will be good for him.  It will be the first few mornings trying to get back into a ‘wake up early and get out the door’ routine that will kill me/us.

Anyways.  Wow am I exciting, eh?  Kids. Kids. Kids.  Don’t worry, somehow, somewhere, PC and I still managing to finagle some naughty time here and there (now that his allergies are somewhat under control again that is!).

The kid loves to dress up.  When he grows up he wants to be a Butler or a Chauffeur.  Why you ask?  So he can wear a tuxedo every single day of course!  Don’t *all* six year old little boys wish to wear tuxes when they grow up?!  On other days he’s going to be Superman.  He has high aspirations.  *giggle*

He’s a giggle box, snuggle bug and he can be quite precocious at times, most especially in the dialogue he comes up with.  I seriously *heart* this little boy.
