My Mac decided to die on me Thursday afternoon.  (RIP dear beloved laptop)  Hence the absence of Friday Favorites.  But not to worry your pretty little heads, I will still post them because there were some great ones this past week!  Look forward to them come Monday I think….

In the meantime PC rocked my world by recovering everything on my old laptop and getting me up and running on a new one.  *YAY!!!*  In the meantime..something to keep you entertained….

PC has discovered a new station on his Slacker radio. We were listening to it Friday night and I swear every. single. song. that came on was on the playlist at Coyote Ugly in Vegas! Sweet!!!  This is one of my favorites.  I think it’s my new theme song…

Conversation with our favorite waiter at our favorite Friday night pub…

Him: Hey!  Because of you they brought back the Apple Pie Martini to the menu!

Me: *groaning…laughing*  Well…I’m going to pass, I filled my quota the other night.

Later…

Me: Is this good? (pointing to this Peppermint Infused White Russian on the specialty menu)

Him: *looking incredulous*  You’ve never had a White Russian?!?!?!

Me:  *blink blink*

Him:   …well.  Do you like Vodka?  (laughs) Of course you like Vodka! 

Yeah….. *ahem*.   My reputation precedes me everywhere I go.  (doh)

So this wkend we watched The Sorcerers Apprentice.  Which is a movie we balked at seeing in the theater, waiting for it to be released on DVD.  It was not only cast well, but really GOOD.  We all really enjoyed it.  The girl, (Teresa Palmer), Jay Baruchel’s love interest, bugged me though.  PC asked if I would do her (common question when we are watching TV or movies) and I quickly told him- No. I would not.  He was surprised, mentioning how hard I am to figure out because he thought she was really pretty.  She was pretty, I suppose, but I just didn’t care for her.

Hours later, I went for an afternoon run and while I was out it hit me.  The last movie he was in- She’s Out of My League- his love interest (Alice Eve) was fucking HOT.  *swoon worthy hot….*  (I actually saw that movie with Ashton and remember telling him I would share her with him *wink*)  She has an amazing Brittish accent, is an excellent actress, very charismatic and sexier than hell.  That’s what bothered me! I preferred him with HER!  Haha!
