My hysterectomy is scheduled for next Wednesday. Two-four weeks to recover....six weeks before heavy lifting or activity. The worst part-
no sex for six.whole.week. Noooooo.......
*humpf* Can you guess what we'll be doing for the next 7 days? Doing it like we're fucking bunnies! THAT's what we'll be doing. We have a very, uh....
'active' sex life
(which is an absurd understatement). The very thought of going that long is unfathomable.
*huge HUGE unhappy face*

So I'm guessing after next week the rest of May we'll be ummm...supporting National Masturbation Month. (Much to my/his/ours dismay....)
In the meantime, CHEERS~!

Since February I have been struggling with ongoing chronic pelvic pain, sometimes debilitatingly so. Numerous dr appointments, bloodwork, tests, numerous days...weeks...spent on bedrest and so.many.pills. I've been diagnosed with
PFTM and
Adenomysosis. Some days are better than others. Almost like a blessing in disguise SM was laid off near the beginning of the year. And he's been
amazing. I thank god every day for him. He's taken over the housecleaning, laundry, caring for the animals, helping the kiddos get ready for school, etc. I could never explain how thankful I am for him. To have found someone who cares for me so
deeply and unconditionally.
Three years ago I had a surgery
(Endometrial Ablation) in hopes of alleviating these same issues and avoiding a more serious surgery. It was a horrible, awful recovery...weeks upon weeks. But once I had finally recovered I was very happy with the outcome. Until now.... I am taking a plethora of heavy time-release narcotics, muscle relaxers, vitamin supplements, anti-depressants...which for obvious reasons I can not continue to take long term. The procedure I had Wednesday confirmed that I've run out of options.
For women who experience severe discomfort from adenomyosis, certain treatments can help, but hysterectomy is the only cure. ~Mayo Clinic
*sigh*
Honestly as this point, it'll be a blessing.

Time stands still....

The long,
long winter has finally come to an end. This particular part of Amish country gets so very much snow and oh so very little sun. Needless to say it was an
extremely difficult winter for this Blue-Eyed Vixen. I can see clearly now...or at least a lot more
clearer.
*happy sigh*
