One of my furbabies has been quite sick for several weeks now with a 'mysterious' illness. It's happened two other times before. The first time we spent an arm and a leg for every blood panel and xray there was to be had. And they found....nothing. And then just as mysteriously as he got sick he got better. That was over a year ago. Once more this winter he came down with the same symptoms, I consulted the vet and tried the same things he had recommended I try before that 'magically made him better'. And he it worked. He got better again. So this time when he got sick, I saw it coming. I knew it was going to happen again. I proceeded to do the things the vet had recommended previously and kept my fingers crossed that it would pass after a few days (every time has been less than a week) like it always has before. ......Except this time it didn't. He's still sick. I have NO idea what is wrong with him. :( So I'm taking him in and I'm very anxious. Part of me is worried they won't know either. And the other part worried that what if they DO find something... and it's really major. Keep your fingers crossed for us. *sigh*

My bitch of the day....
Starbucks is screwing themselves up the ass (and not in the good way people) by not offering a punch-card/frequent buyer reward system of some kind. Think about it, EVERY place has some kind of rewards cards. Freakin' grocery stores have reward cards! But seriously, my two favorite sandwich places offer punch cards. My groomer has a punch card. Some of our favorite clothing stores (*ahemBuckleahem*)
offer them. All our local smaller, less- franchise-like coffee places I know have them. The new one PC discovered recently offers double punches on Wednesdays. Do you know what that means? Hell fucking yeah people....we're so totally there on Wednesday!
So, why? WHY!? would Starbucks not?! I don't get it. It actually kind of pisses me off. So don't mind me while I drive by Starbucks to hit the place down the street to get my punch for my morning coffee/afternoon pick me up.

Man. A super fun night spent in the hot tub Saturday night resulted in me staying up way too late. And drinking way too much. *groan* So. flippin. tired.
I have a horrible shin splint that showed up Sunday. I have *NO* idea how I got it as I haven't run since Friday morning. *OUCH*
I have been hooked- HOOKED!!! -on the Twilight series. I couldn't pull myself away to put the books down, they have been SO SO SO awesome. Until now. I am near the end of the fourth and last book. I've been near the end for a week now. I can't seem to muddle my way through the end. I think two things are preventing me from just fucking finishing it already. The first being I will be seriously sad for it to be *over*. I have loved these books and have gotten very caught up in them. But the other is that things have really turned in this last book and I don't love where they have taken them as much. It IS the final one, so I understand the author needing to wind it up and take it somewhere that like 'ends'. *sigh* Oh well.
